Got to see mushroomhead at mayhem years ago. after their set they did a meet and greet in a booth that was alcohol themed, the booth atendents wouldn't let me and my friend in cuz we were under aged and as we were walking away the band called us over and stepped out of the booth to get a picture with us. Super cool of them and made my mayhem fest!
I love mushroomhead and I have a MRH collection myself. Just sucks he always has first crack at everything. Nobody can get a opportunity to buy anything before him. So many masks there I wanted but never got a chance to get them because they never got to see the site before they were gone. Great collection! Good to see you AJ going to see other collections! That is a beautiful collection! 😲🥰 If Perry ever relocates to a bigger building, and expands his collection, it'd be awesome if he also included Shroom's oddball masks (especially, the mummy gauze outfits :-) ): JJ's welder mask, old man mask, and circa-'97-'99 Ace Frehley mask; Roxy's venetian mask from the fourth of July show at Peabody's (1999); Bronson's *Ghost* mask from Distortion's Unlimited; and Jeffery's Wolf, and Darth Vader masks.

Also liked that bar mount in front of the window, that was a cool idea. After watching this video, I realized I have a mushroomhead mask and didn’t know it. It is the Nixon mask. Of course I have it because of the movie point break instead, but still cool to know it doubles as one of theirs too! Sweet video AJ 🤘🤘

being in the scene back in the 2000's- mushroomhead shows were an experience man. XX and XIII had some solid tracks, but my first show I went to I didn't know a single song and had the time of my life. Saw Waylon open with 3/4 and then they all masked up to headline. Peabody's was a killer venue, but Screwy Louie's in Kent was one hell of a good time. We, like every other metal band in the tri-county area, "opened" for them at Peabody's, and those guys would kill it every time. Kinda gave us hope- like these guys are crushing it, we can do it too. Their mask game, IMO, is the strongest out there. Slipknot has some iconic ones, but MH's artistry looks like Todd McFarlane got a job at Halloween Express and ripped everyone's face off in the process. I just typed a lot of words. Glad you made this video, great stuff man.
I grew up listening to MRH in the 90s. XX was like a Greatest Hits for me. Couldn't find merchandise anywhere two hours after a drop and cds were $17 for MRH and all of their side projects. Only the cool kids in NEO had MRH shirts in the 90s.

Maybe not related to Mushroomhead or Slipknot, but maybe along the lines of Horror movie masks and random Halloween masks that I like. That is what I would do, and that man has some sick and super dope masks right there. I saw one that look like a Jack Frost Snowman mask. His collection is insane and awesome at the same time.

I'm only about 4 minutes in, and I'm curious how many of these are the AJ style of "getting all the variants" and how many of these are just custom paint jobs. I see a lot of masks from MRH era's I was actually a fan during but the paintjobs are nothing I've seen before. I know AJ was never the biggest fan of MRH's aesthetics, but I thought they had some really cool designs back in the day, and especially when they started doing their own things. Super slick displays. "Museum" is a good word to describe just how clean that all looks.

kickass masks, i enjoy mushroomhead's old songs mostly, some of their new stuff is okay but they're not as good as gwar or slipknot though, I mainly love mushroomhead's insane live shows and the crazy ass masks like the ones in the video.

This collection has kept MRH going financially. Jokes aside this is an amazing setup. Always loved Stitch's masks, and when J Nothing had the mask made out of fingers. It's a shame MRH has had to live in Slipknots shadow the majority of their career instead of acts they were truly comparable to like Mr Bungle.
I like the first album with Jay man but when they got Waylon, I started really falling out of liking mushroom head. I will say they have the sickest costumes though, and their stage presence is phenomenal, but I wanna shout out to the Green Bay Packer blanket, folded up on the couch the only football team that matters go pack go
