Thank you brother
Thx😊
"I made this skull mask with out 3d printing or sculpting"
sounds like he used a real human skull
honestly this is the best looking ghost mask i`ve seen on youtube, and it even has free templates, bro, you´re a hero
Everyone kinda finds their own way of painting these masks. You can’t really mess up anyways. I saved my self time and just got a 3D printed one. It wasn’t expensive plus it doesn’t look like 💩
Where can you buy a 3d printed one?
Where pls
@@papulinooEtsy or ebay
Imagine if he did ghost’s mask with a real skull face
🤫
Pls do at
R. I P. Inquisitor 🕊️
Mask came out great bro👍 goes to show that you don’t need any expensive tools or materials to make a high quality mask😉
Fax
Dude you're incredibly underrated what the hell this is awesome, instant sub
Hes putting in more effort then most youtubers and getting half the views. Good job m8
0:11 oh please don’t tell me I got a bad ghost mask
FOAAAP!!
@@craftdistry because that’s the same ghost mask I end up getting
@@craftdistry actually nvm it looks a lot better in person then on the picture
Man this is really clean. Loved the video, editing is on par and your humor aswell. I hope ill see more of your work. Keep up the good work 🖤
I made Ghost's mask from the new MW2 - no sculpting or 3d printing...........I literally decapitated a head and broke of it's face part(tutorial) Part 1.
Nah, in all honestly man, that's sick. It's like you were the the original designer so you know exactly what proportions and shape should be. Gotta give props.
Haha lol😆
Awesome my guy, I love seeing people put talent and hard work in to making something. It just shows how good it can be when you don't just click print
I am noob in joining those templates so they became shorter at some joints the result was a " Foap "
Next time i would try to make a better one
Dude thats perfect. Effort you made is so unbelievably great.
Bro u deserve the sub so much, Ur so talented and I have no idea how your under 1k subs, don't stop uploading ever!
Thats wild dude!
Imma so glad yt recommended it to me
There is a certain aesthetic to your voice with the mic, I actually didn't mind the audio too much! Great work!
I'm deffo way too lazy to do this, but this is such a smart way to make this! Also I really love how you edited this video, it's very fun to watch :D
Thanks!!!
Well done on the mask it looks really cool!
the ghost mask actually scares me right into my soul and now i look like ive seen a ghost
this is actually so frikin creative what
we live we love we lie
🍄🐱🐌
phenomenal work my friend
Ngl, the mic quality adds to the overall 'vibe' of the video
Honestly though, this is badass. Amazing work
this is amazing work. i have a question if you would be so kind. the software you mentioned, pepakura, is used for what purpose? did you use it to get the templates on paper you showed at the very start?
Pepakura is a software that is built to create paper crafts, it's a 3d software in which you will import your 3d model inside the software then it will create a template based on your 3d model that you can print and build, it's like a software for 3d printer but the difference is you are the 3d printer....hope this helps
@@craftdistry so basically those templates you had at the very beginning of ur video, the ones you cut out and used to make the template, those were made from that software. do i understand that correclty
Yess you got it
thats so sick mannnnn i love it
Awesome work!
This is so good! :0 how tf do u not have over 1000 million subs?!
Im genuinely lookikg forward for another video
Part 2 will not disappoint you
Im gona try to make one
Love ur video making style
this looks perfect
i personally think you need more subs and likes. your artistic skills are outstanding and the effort and time you put into your projects are amazing i will most definitely be turning on post notifications - Doodle bob
Thanks for that Doodle Bob 😁😊
Looks great
The mask looks very cool and professionally done!
I’m from Florida, so Ohio sounds like a cakewalk but I’ll subscribe anyway. Hope you get more recognition soon.
this is awesome man!!!
nice work, i saw part 2 and its looking GREAT.
I'm glad you like it
@@craftdistry amazing work and how do i resize it according to my face?
Using a software called pepakura and you should measure it roughly from you hairline to your lower lip
FOAP 😈
I bet Ghost himself used this tutorial to make his mask 😂 SOOOOOO GOOOOD!!!!!!!!! I'm making this myself!
I, too, always think how these store-bought masks should resemble a real ghost mask
Brilliant
the mask is awesome!
😂this is literally the coolest thing I’ve ever seen
Wow so good
Bro is a big brain🗿 and keep going ❤
THANYOU DUDEEEE
Dude the mask shape looks so good! Wish I knew how to print out and make the file I suck with that stuff. To bad you don't sell them I'd pay good money for one even if it was unpainted
Bro, sending tons of love and respect
I Don't have 3d printer, thanks for the great work❤
nice bro
you did it very good bro
I love it bro, if only I had the time to make it
Hello brother, I have a question, should I fold along the dotted lines or the dotdash lines? I saw your other video of the Batman mask, you say that on the dotted lines you have to make mountain folds and on the dotdash lines you have to make valley folds, do I have to do something similar to that? And I see in the templates that in each piece of the mask there are those types of lines. I hope you answer my questions. Thank you.
Yes, you'll have to do the same on this mask
Who else came in here thinking he sued a skull

@@cta0000Ty
Thanks for this video just wanna ask how much layers did you use and how do you fold it?
I only used one layer and I fold it according to the fold lines on the template
Theres a few good looking ghost masks on etsy 3d printing and premade but on places like amazon they all look really bad
Did you use hot glue to attach the paper bits together, also PaPekura is only accessible in windows, is there another software for mac?
I don't know about Mac but you could make your own research about it
Maybe it's just me not following along, but what size did you print the template and what did you make it up of? (the thing you glued the template to)
Also what glue do you use to stick all the parts together? Sorry for all the questions
I used letter size paper which is 8.5 by 11 inch and I glued the templates to a folder (you can also use vellum paper or cereal box) and I used glue sticks to glue the pieces together
@@craftdistry thanks man! Looks great!
Hey! Great video, just one question BTW.... is it an A4 sheet you're printing onto? Or of somwthing else, what are the dimentioms pf the sheet
I printed the template in letter size or mostly known as short bondpaper
Hello, i wanted to ask you, what size did you make the third mask? (the one that came the right size
I forgot, I increased it around 20-30% it's size but don't worry the templates are already increased so you guys don't need to
Hey did you use scissors or a boxcutter to cut the templates? or some other method
I used a boxcutter :)
A question
How were you able to glue the mask pieces together and what glue did you use?
If you could answer me I would appreciate it.
I first tape two pieces together using masking tape then glue them using glue stick
Should I put the adhesive tape on the outside or inside of the mask?
Outside of the mask then glue it on the inside
Hey, I know this video is quite old but I have a question. You said you had to resize the mask to fit your face properly. How did you make changes to the template so that the final result will be smaller in size ? Did you make changes to the piece sizes in Pepakura or somewhere else ?
Yes, I made the changes inside pepakura, if you want further details, you can watch my Dark knight helmet tutorial where I show how to resize your helmet inside pepakura
What type of wood glue did u use,the only type i can find seams to liquid,ur-s is a lot thicker, and i am afraid the wood filler won't stick after i apply it (beautiful work btw)
Mine is liquid too, it's just a little dry that's why its viscosity is high and trust me the woodfiller will stick after it dries :)
@@craftdistry ok,thxsm i was worried
Say, how do you know in what way you're supposed to bend every single piece and by how much ? Cause that looks like some really precise work. Does Pepakura tell you how to fold the pieces ?
Yes, it can tell you how much you should bend the pieces but I don't use that feature because it will take a lot of time
hi i really want to try to do this but on the template you linked we can almost not see the fold lines to i was wondering if you could link the same thing but without the color, thanks! 😁
You can turn off the textures when you go inside pepakura with the pdo file imported then on the 3d window you can turn off the texture
I watched the two parts and the result was awesome! could you do a more detailed video about how to glue the pieces? I'm trying to do the mask and i can't get that part
The way I glued the pieces together is I first taped 2 pieces together using masking tape on the front of the mask then applied hot glue on the back and then I removed the masking tape after it cools down.
You can put clay with easy drying and it is just as hard as the drl video?
I haven't tried easy drying clay but I think could work
Hi! Can you tell what paper did you glue your templates on? I want a good foldable paper, but a one that has character too, to hold the shape. Thanks for the answer!
You can use a cardstock or a folder but usually papers that are 0.5mm thick are the best to use in this template
Thank you, that helps a lot. I very much appriciate the answer. I didn't expect that soon. You are awesome
Hey again 👋
What is the wood glue you use? (The yellow packet?)
I can tell it's more of a paste than other wood glues I've been finding.
Also, if I cannot find it, would regular liquid wood glue work just as well, just needing more coats of it?
Thanks
I can assure you that it is a wood glue 😅
@@craftdistry got it, lmao. I couldn't find the exact one used in the video, but hoping the liquid wood glue works just as well.
Thanks for the speedy replies!
It will😁
Amazing job, but I have one question. how do you glue them together. I know on pepakura it has tabs but mine didn't print with any (and I didn't think yours did either) I just don't understand how you glued them together.
You can click on the 3d model on pepakura to see where the parts are going to connect and also I used glue sticks to glue the pieces together
@@craftdistrytysm my dude
Hello, is the mask hard enough for airsoft play? I want it for airsoft and i dont wanna get shot through😂 btw the PDF file in your description is little bit smaller (1-2cm) than a PDO file in Pepakura
Yes, if you use resin to harden the mask
hey dude! just a quick question, what did you change to adjust the size of it? and did you use hot glue to put together the cut out template?
I used the software called pepakura to resize the template and yes I use hot glue to glue the pieces together
@@craftdistry What was the final size of the mask you made?
Around 5-6 inches tall
After printing out the template and cutting Do we fold it onwards or outwards?
It depends if it is a broken line or a dot-dash line
Can I know what kind of paint you use that mix in the water thankyouuu
Acrylic paint
Bro how'd you get the 3d file of ghost mask
I would also try to make different or easier templates with pepakura
I got the 3d model off the internet, just search for "Ghost Nightwar 3d model"
It is so good 👍💀
aweeesomee! but brother how can i do the paint work properly?and i think its made of paper right? and can i wear it to do cosplays?
There's a lot of techniques you can use to weather your mask and there's a lot of tutorials for that here on RUclips, you could check those out
What kind of hard glue did you use for the inside? Like the stick ones that you need to use a gun for?
Yes, it's called glue sticks and the gun is called glue gun
Best mic
Most function mic
for the wood glue, I can only find liquid versions of it, not that putty type of stuff, where did you get it? would pva work fine?
Mines liquid too it's just a little dry
I think no one can make the real ghost mask accurately right, plus it needs to be the shape of your face but nice mask tho
Well, the Activision's props team did
I have a question for you: What did you use to connect all the paper pieces together for the mask??
Glue sticks :)
@@craftdistry Thank you sir👍👍👍
Hey, just a question (or two), what size paper did you use to print the files out? I've tried printing the textureless PDF with A4 and it is way too small. Also, while I'm at it, how small do the pieces become once you've folded them? E.G one of the pieces around the eyesocket, how much smaller would you say it would become once cut out and folded?
The piece in the eye socket is actually very small and also I prefer if you print it on letter size or sometimes called short paper
@@craftdistry Alright thanks mate!
What material should i use to make the skull? Yours looks solid what did u use?
🤦🤦🤦
If I'm not wrong I think you're talking about where I glued the templates, for that I used a paper called "folder" which is roughly 0.5 millimeters thick but you can also use a cereal box cardboard alternatively
That'll do... thank you mate you literally deserve the sub, soooo creative, the most accurate ghost mask that I've ever seen
I clicked on the vid 3 times the speed of light when I saw the sentence 'NOT 3D PRINTED'. finally i can make my own mask❤❤❤
So is the size in the link below your video correct for that final result?
Yes :)
great, thanks for replying me (so fast bro) =}}
Also, this print has a lot of details and you did it so fast, so I found it quite difficult 😓
Aye, so how many layers of folder did you use? And how thick is it?
Only one
What size do you print it and can ou use wall filler instead of wood filller
Thank you for the heart but what is the size you printed it as
@@msq099 i think 130 and 150
@@faridhijransyahfaridhijran4872 thank you for the reply but why 130 and 150 isn't there just 1 template
What kind of white glue did you use and what kind of wood filler did you use?
I used Elmer's glue and for the wood filler I don't know what it is but it's like a clay
My template has this printing on it. How did you get it to be white on the inside like that?
It's because the surface I glued the template on is white
Step 1 digg your grandfathers grave Step 2
Lol 😂
I thought you got the skull from a graveyard 💀
Lol
Would paper clay work as a wood glue substitute? What type of glue did you use to put the paper pieces together?
Yes it will
Thank you!
Hello! I would like to make another mask according to this principle, but there are a lot of polygons and I can't make a sweep properly, can you help?
just follow how they fold using the guide lines and focus on one piece only and do not think about the other parts :)
Hello, how are you bro? I would like to know what putty or resin you used to harden the mask? I wait your answer. Thank you.
I used polyester resin but you can use whatever type of resin you like
@@craftdistry Thanks bro
Hi, thanks for the video. I'm trying to make my own mask. I 3D printed it with nylon, but I don't like the plastic effect. I wanted to ask you why you used wood filler? Do you think it's okay to apply it on a 3D print? Thanks in advance 🙏🏻
@@SEV3N_c7 I use wood filler to smoothen the surface of the mask and making it less carboard-ish , and yes, you can also use it on your 3d printed mask
are the dashed lines mountain folds?? while the dash - dotted lines are valley ones??
Yesss
Hi, In the beginning, what kind of thing did you glue the printed pieces to make the pieces look hard because at first glance I thought you glued it to the plastic like pvc plastice..
I hope you can answer this..
If you're referring to the cardboard like paper it is called a "folder" but if you're referring to the yellowish one I paste to the mask it is called wood glue but if you're referring to the one that I used to fill the insides of the mask, it is glue sticks and lastly if you're referring to the one I used to make the mask smooth, it is called wood filler.....hope this helps😁
@@craftdistry is it just one layer of folder?
Yes it is
@@craftdistry thanks for answering...
No problem :)
Is there a version of the template like yours in black and white so you can see the lines better ?
Yes, if you turned off the texture while in pepakura you'll get the blank template
That looks awesome!! I wish I had those type of materials 🥲
You can use paper mache as an alternative for wood filler
@@craftdistry Thx!
What paper did you use to print the template?
Normal letter sized bondpaper
Broo how did you do that megaphone voice effect in the beginning of this video ....was giving cod Vibes asf
By using a simple...... ✨VOICE CHANGER✨
