It's like you were the the original designer so you know exactly what proportions and shape should be. Gotta give props.

Pepakura is a software that is built to create paper crafts, it's a 3d software in which you will import your 3d model inside the software then it will create a template based on your 3d model that you can print and build, it's like a software for 3d printer but the difference is you are the 3d printer....hope this helps

What 3D model was used for this? The DeviantArt has no model linked to it, and I can't convert the PDO back to an OBJ or STL since I don't have a token.
Ohhhh yes my apologies, I used just a regular white glue for that and to make it more resistant, I coat it with woodglue then fill the insides with glue sitcks

Hello brother, I have a question, should I fold along the dotted lines or the dotdash lines? I saw your other video of the Batman mask, you say that on the dotted lines you have to make mountain folds and on the dotdash lines you have to make valley folds, do I have to do something similar to that? Yo I imported the pdo file in pepakura but when I print it, the colours are there which makes it harder to see the dotted lines. I tried resizing the no colour file you put but that doesn’t work. Can you send the pdo file you had in the video? Just the white and black one with no colours?

I used letter size paper which is 8.5 by 11 inch and I glued the templates to a folder (you can also use vellum paper or cereal box) and I used glue sticks to glue the pieces together
@@concretewall2748 nope I didn't, but maybe the glue is the problem or even the amount you apply, I used Elmer's glue and put moderate amount on the templates before I stick it to the folder

Hi, In the beginning, what kind of thing did you glue the printed pieces to make the pieces look hard because at first glance I thought you glued it to the plastic like pvc plastice.. I hope you can answer this..
If you're referring to the cardboard like paper it is called a "folder" but if you're referring to the yellowish one I paste to the mask it is called wood glue but if you're referring to the one that I used to fill the insides of the mask, it is glue sticks and lastly if you're referring to the one I used to make the mask smooth, it is called wood filler.....hope this helps😁
In order for you to know where the pieces are going to connect, you should first download the pdo file in the description then import it in pepakura (pc) but if you don't have a computer, you can download on your phone the app called armorsmith viewer then import the pdo file there

The way I glued the pieces together is I first taped 2 pieces together using masking tape on the front of the mask then applied hot glue on the back and then I removed the masking tape after it cools down.
What type of wood glue did u use,the only type i can find seams to liquid,ur-s is a lot thicker,and i am afraid the wood filler won't stick after i apply it (beautiful work btw)

You can turn off the textures when you go inside pepakura with the pdo file imported then on the 3d window you can turn off the texture

It is normal for the eyes to be small, but if it is really too small try increasing the scale of the template a little

Hey man, when I try to cut the cardboard using the template, most of the time the paper comes off and rips half of the cardboard. How do I fix this?
You should use a thinner cardboard for the templates like velum paper, folder, or a cereal box

You can use a cardstock or a folder but usually papers that are 0.5mm thick are the best to use in this template

Valley fold is the up-ward fold and the mountain fold is of course the down-ward fold

Mine is liquid too, it's just a little dry that's why its viscosity is high and trust me the woodfiller will stick after it dries :)

Mountain folds for dotted lines and valley folds for dot dashed lines, you can search on the browser if you want more information

When gluing the pieces together, use glue gun or super glue, just tape them first then apply glue

The templates are actually small especially on the eye socket parts so it's normal and don't worry
