I’m not sure what’s happening but I’ve been editing the raw files all day! There was a long wait for the s5ii compatibility but this one has just worked so far for me

Im curious your thoughts on using the USB SSD drive for your photo files given your love for RAW photos in your time lapses?
I need to look into if it works for photos, I think it might be only video. It's currently shooting so can't check!

I keep asking for a little timelapse treat, which would be to set the interval time as MINIMUM X TIME.
My idea is to have a hybrid solution between interval time and no intervall.
Like for holy grails to start at 5s and than end with no interval in the night.
Hm that's probably too tricky to get going, but you might be able to use qdslrdashboard to plan that in as an external controller!
The Lumix cameras also allow you to develop RAW files inside the camera from the playback menu. Of course this is not convenient at all for dealing with many pictures, but still an option.
True! Luckily we can now edit with Adobe!
I had the same issue and I was converting my files from RAW to DNG with "Adobe Digital Negative Converter" but with Lightroom 12.2 or higher version Raw files from Panasonic S5 ii works fine :-))))
all working now!
Please do tutorial on live capture option.

real pros usually buy a good one and use it for years, IMHO

@@ivan_12345 most pros I've met only rent cameras. Just incase you actually cared. Professionals don't stick to one tool they use the best one for the job. If in film industry usually the director and dop will select what's used not the operator.

Clickbait extreme. With almost 69K subscribers, I see no need for the clickbait. There's enough whining creators out there making "problem" videos about the S5iix that add up to problems with them, not the camera. Not subscribing.
Fair enough. There's more to a channel than subscriber numbers though, I won't go into it here but I thought I'd give it a try in a playful way to see how it went. Cheers
