Enjoyed the episode and glad you got some drone footage of the coast. It is quite interesting. Especially south of Sellicks. Moana is my local beach. It's the next beach north of Maslins. You can drive on Moana as well. As a local rate payer, i get a free beach pass to drive on the beach. Did you see Port Noarlunga? It's another beautiful beach where the Onkaparinga River comes out and there's a beautiful reef for snorkeling and a jetty. Your pronunciation of Willunga made me laugh. Looking forward to your next episode. Burra is a fascinating town.

Taco pizza, hamburg lettuce, cheese, and tomato with orange sauce the taste like French dressing, which tasted very good !
I've found another pizza that I absolutely love, it's called Red Barron French bread that's made with garlic and cheese

No paying to go on any WA beaches any time of the year and some of our best summer beaches are around Esperance being Wharton Beach (4kms long) and Cape Le Grand ( 63kms by road ) beach which you can drive all the way back into Esperance (possibly 30/40kms) on as well as the famed Lucky Bay . Beaches up north are for winter driving eg Broome and Ningaloo areas , 80 Mile Beach .

This years beach access fees are really high, if you live in the noarlunga area you get a beach pass for free, the fees go to a local charity & now with a $4 higher fee that extra money goes towards the council clean up & maintenance fund ( last year our council was found to be asset rich & funding poor by an independent enquiry)
You pronounced willunga correctly the second time at first attempt mrs B well done, alot of our local names are from the local Kaurna ( pronounced with a G) language & can be a bit tounge twistery. Im a local in willunga (66 years) and since they started charging money i no longer visit the beach. They also have fenced off beaches so you can no longer drive from beach to beach. All totally illegal blocking off public areas. The onkaparinga council is so intent on wasting rate payers money and growing their empire. The money collected from beach goers i was told by a beach collector goes to local sporting clubs and venues which i never use. They also stopped net fishing.

It used to be 8 dollars and a 50-50 split to local sporting clubs, scouts, lifesaving etc. Similar to bunnings sausage sizzle. But this year it has jumped to $12 and its $4 to community groups and $8 to the council.
If you live in the council area you can get a beach pass and not pay a cent.
It's also to cap numbers, the population has got out of control in the area.
Also let's address the "we didn't pay the other day" this usually is the case if the temp is under 25 degrees or crap onshore winds.
Or you are on the beach before 8am or after 5pm.
Not sure why you didn't pay at silver sands entrance because they will usually have one at all 3 entrances in that area. Aldinga, Silver sands and Sellicks end.
Moana beach also has entrance fee.
