Rattle/impact guns are not needed for caravan legs - best way to break/crack a leg; just use a regular drill with a low setting. By all means use a rattle gun when changing wheels 😁😁
You appear as though you’ve had this van for months, you made it look very easy with towing on the beach and doing the set up, set down procedures. How beautiful is this region, we are blessed in QLD with many locations and our warmer winters, except for the lack of day light saving, it’s like living in the arctic circle. Nice video all the best with your next van, look forward to seeing more.
Your setup really looks comfortable and efficient - without losing that connection to being outdoors and away from home. I think you've found a decent compromise with that van configuration and hope you're enjoying using it as much as I'm enjoying watching you grow into it after being vehicle based campers for so long. The Prado took as much as I'd ever want to do in its stride. That tow vehicle and van represent a good combo. You've certainly earned the right to a bit of comfort after some of your previous rigs. I laughed when I heard Holly say - "Let's go 22 foot!" No Holly, remember the less is more rule :)
Na the bigger is better for living in its a one bedroom apartment on wheels , the tug is the next thing and bigger is better with them , always remember there's no substitute for cubic inches my friends 😊
Fantastic episode as usual, you two have a flair for cinematography and naturalness in what you do. The Garlic and pepper cheese from Kenilworth tastes like Kabana, your welcome
First it was from tents/swags into RTTs, and/or Troopies w/conversions, But now it looks like many are now moving from that onto caravans. Is this the natural progression as you get older?
Thanks for sharing, good to see small is OK as well and good starting point and interested at what size you stop at. Never drank a cup of coffee in my life and don't want to after every youtuber have to show you they do ! Mainly love your channel as its so family friendly along with great content and fantastic photography and commentary. Thanks again and have seen and enjoyed your passed travels. Bill Mc
As much as I don't like towing when going off-road, I like the ability to setup a base camp, while you explore the area on your 4WD. Plus it is so much more comfortable than my RTT (no matter how good the mattress is).
Hey Matt love the content you and Holly put out. You both seem so honest and down to earth. Don't use an impact driver on the legs you will break the bevel gear or the split pin in the back of it. Just use a drill
@OverlandTravellers thanks for the reply. Keen to see where you guys go with a 16ft hybrid. We have a 15ft full height goldstream van we plan on taking to some places you have been

HI Matt and Holly..still loving the content now you have also moved to "Caravan Life" like us. Just a quick question with the split bed as Matt I think you are my height...does your hip sink into the gap between the two mattresses? Or do you guys sleep "East/West" rather than "North/South"
@@OverlandTravellers Oh, that's the pity. It's a beautiful walk to a swimming hole with a waterfall that overlooks a valley. Maybe its good you didn't. It can stay a hidden gem :P

Nice work showcasing a great part of Queensland! Your videography and storytelling game is on point 👌🙌
Thanks so much, we’re really enjoying putting these videos together!
Once you go van, you won't go back (I know I wont). Welcome to caravanning life, hope we see you on the road some day.
