I love this episode but man I could tell the identity killer was Fahey from the beginning. From when John first met him when he said put your hands up show me your badge I knew that no FBI agent was that unprofessional.
Like the song Shaw as well. She reminds me of myself in an odd way. 'Trust is overrated'. I honestly believe this. Who made song and whats the title please?
When Finch realises who the killer really is, he realises by looking at the seismographs and says that the killer spiked the needle, what does he see on the charts to realise who the killer is, and what does spiking the needle mean?
He was doing a lie detector test. When the needle spiked, it was between asking the people they suspected questions and it was during the time that this fake detective was resting near it or close enough to where it picked him up. When it spikes, it usually means a lie and whatever he was doing at the time tipped Finch off that he was a liar so he did some digging and realized the truth. Lie detector tests monitor heart rate I believe and it when you tell a lie, there's a tell tale sign and it would cause a spike whereas the truth wouldn't cause a spike and would instead be a steady rhythm with the needle. Does that make any sense? I hope I helped some.
Amazing episode. One of my favorite. So creepy and eerie but from this point and on the acting is amazing.
S2E17 is one of my favorite episodes, Jim and Michael did a great job as always, but Luke Macfarlane's acting makes this episode even more special.
0:24 - first watched this episode in the early hours of the morning and almost shrieked at this bit. XD
