@@taylorken2354 I wouldn't. After I cut out dairy, I learned about how cows are raped by farmers for babies, then cry out and mourn the loss of their children. So it's not something I want to support anymore anyways.
Plus, it's fluid designed by nature to turn an infant calf into a 400lb to 600lb animal, that doesn't sound healthy to me lol.

It's a vicious cycle because anxiety causes tension and less flexibility of the diaphragm to produce a fight or flight scenario. So, my asthma is worsened with anxiety. I went to an allergy and respiratory specialist. Panic compounds the situation, so stay calm. After I got an inhaler for survival, I've engaged in athletics. Millions of us have this problem, but you can live a fun life.

Yes, I've noticed that many of the recommendations for one are advised against for the other. I did Dr Jaime Kaufman's Drop Acid Diet for 2 weeks and it seemed to help. Now I'm slowly adding foods back in to see how they affect me. But with so many factors to consider, i.e. focusing on foods to help with the LPR or to help with the asthma, or environmental factors like dust and pollen, it's difficult to really know exactly what is affecting how and how much. But I have faith and know I'll figure it somehow. It's just frustrating not knowing exactly what I need to do or eat to heal.

My asthma and allergy specialist said to me i have to stay on top of the proton pump inhibitor meds (Prilosec and Carafate) because the GERD triggers the asthma flares. I’m also taking a nasal spray for the allergies. I’m out of my rescue inhaler on the road driving my semi so was looking up alternative methods to help ease symptoms till I get home again next week to see my dr and get refills. I was born with the asthma and turned blue the first time at 9 weeks old so it’s been an ongoing struggle my entire life. Cow's milk is the worst.
I was born with asthma. I was a music major in college with a focus on voice (singing). This helped because I learned how to take care of my throat/vocal cords and deal with sinus issues as they are all connected to respiratory systems. Singers will get sick more often due to their frequent or over use of that system. My vocal instructor, an amazing opera singer, told me to eliminate as much dairy from my diet as possible, but most importantly cow's milk. All singers know to stay away from cow's milk because it causes mucus in the body.
The reason why the body produces mucus, aside from environmental allergy triggers, is due to dryness within the body from diet (such as excess sugars aka soda) or weather (dry air). The mucus is made to protect your vocal cords, coating them with it because they are very sensitive. This is why it is very important to keep your vocals hydrated.
Apple juice is a good option for this. Water is an obvious choice, but if you are in a pinch - Smart Water is the holy grail as it has electrolytes in it that hydrate the voice in as little as a few minutes from my experience. Talk less when having mucus or a sore throat to preserve the hydration from vocal cords (your breath has microparticles of water in it, which is why a mirror or window will fog up when you breathe on it); do not drink citrus juices during this time due to excess sugar (of orange juice, for example) and burning of throat/vocal cords.
I hope these tips help! :)

Asthma cannot be cured because it is a disease.
The definition of a disease is that it can be progressive, cannot be cured - only treated, and can be fatal (if left untreated). This means that you will have asthma your whole life, you just have to learn how to manage your body's allergens to be as minimally agitated/triggered as possible on a daily basis. And learn how to manage symptoms from allergens (asthma attacks, mucus, etc) in the most comfortable way possible.

I give my doughter Acetilcesteine and made her cough all night...maybe we try again when her asthma is under control...have used quercetin in the past and didn't do much, did the pinaple syrup didn't do much...now we trying beetroot juice freshly pressed I guess we must work on totally eliminating even the organic keffir, and cut the rice out of the diet, the banana out, chocolate must be out..add more maguinesium suplement, more vitamin D as well

How about asthma symptoms related to food sensitivities due to Candida overgrowth?? I have been suffering horribly for months now from a chronic cough and wheezing, congestion and many, many other symptoms due to Candida. It started over 6 months ago but the coughing and wheezing has been going on for about 4 months. I didn’t know what it was at first and had chest x rays and a chest cat scan done. All clear. I am starting on the GAPS diet. I know this will be a long road to recovery, maybe even a couple years. In the mean time any advice on this would be greatly appreciated! I do have a rescue inhaler that I am able to use but I really want to be free of it. My Dr told me to stop the Advair because the steroid use caused oral thrush which I think just exacerbated the overgrowth that was already there.
    Thank you!

    a. Food sensitivities to wheat products like grains, conventional dairy, soy; get these foods out of your diet.
    2. Eliminate foods that cause phlegm build up.

Like the tooth-worm notion lasting millenia that tooth caries was due to a worm the present asthma theory about treating asthma with medication is wrong and we have the asthma-paradox that more medication causes more asthma.
In other cultures mudras such as pressing a finger against the thumb (chin mudra) are used to treat asthma by relaxing our lung airways.
Christian prayer with interlaced fingers is the ambuja mudra.

Phlegm? Mucous caused by TH2 cells triggering mucous production. Quercetin better from onions. Even apples can be a problem or apple pectins. It’s in skin of citrus not the juice. This guy is a badly spoken fool. He is awful. Pineapple, no. I take LDN 6 mg. Getting an increase in fibre will change gut biome and reduce systemic reactants and leakage from gut. But read carefully re the fibre chosen.

first have him actually tested to see if he has any kind of allergy to dairy. I have a dairy allergy because I am allergic to most grass and wheat, cows eat grass and it affects the milk. I am not allergic to milk in of itself but the grass. The further away the dairy is from its natural source (milk) the less reaction I have. Like if I eat a hard cheese, I have less reaction then if I drink a cup of fresh milk..But I do generally just use a replacement. I drink probiotic cashew yogurt drinks, I use almond milk etc, etc.
