I enjoy this. A little dry, but I really like how you use normal home game tools and supplies. It's super irritating watching people say, "anyone can build this easily." Then they have a massive shops and $ 10k in tools.... This is actually doable.
Not everyone has a full table saw, drill press, planer, joiner, giant work bench, dust collectors, full professional woodshop.

Just the wood itself that most people use runs in the 500 to 1k. Not cheap material that I want to get like 2x6 that I can glue together and have a large platform for a workbench table xD.

I've used white board / marker board for drawer bottoms, too! works great and super easy to clean, and no paint or finish needed. Take that kreg jig and screw it to a piece of scrap 3/4 plywood, it has holes in it so it can be screwed to something. It works great and you can even add a little workpiece support on the sides so the panel doesn't rock, like you experienced.

That was so good, I learned so many tips! One I have for you is when cutting the drawer pull holes, drill through the front until the tip of the forstener bit is just poking out the back, then switch to drill from the back and you’ll have no blowout. Hope that helps :) I’m off to binge watch some of your other videos,

Very nice results as well as instructional. May I suggest when drilling into a round item (forstner into the dowel for the cross pieces on the legs) use a clamp to hold the dowel. The damage from that forstner on one's hand is pretty devastating. Don't ask me how I know all too well. Thanks!!

If you are worried about tip over, possibly consider either running screws with washers (to keep them from easily busting through the back) into wall anchors in the wall or maybe even a couple French cleats attached to the plywood if you don't mind the dresser being a few inches from wall. I had to screw my daughters to the wall when she was little because she would pull the drawers out and climb it like a ladder.

Functional with a lot of style, just as good furniture should be. The dowel legs are a nice touch - it has a 'mid-century' feel about it which I like , reminds me of designs in the UK store HABITAT of that period. Good luck with the new home build - lots of scope to exercise your skills. Maybe put more tools on the Xmas/Birthday list ( that's how I get a lot of mine )

Cool design! A tip as you learn and use the table saw more. If you are adjusting the blade height for a groove or dado it is more accurate to raise the blade up to you measurement then to lower it down. The way the gears mesh they are more likely to stay where you set them when you raise the blade up to your height. Keep on making, you are doing great!
