I have the exact same set, but I have a question, does the brine shrimp eggs come with the kit or do you have to buy them separately? I'm confused rn

Yes the eggs came in one of the several pots in the kit. There are enough eggs to grow a lot of brine shrimp. You can also buy the eggs on Amazon but they are ridiculously expensive there. The eggs are often used for fish food, so perhaps you can try your local pet store that has fish and aquariums?

Using a camera is a very good idea. 👍 thank you for that suggestion and for helping other viewers.

I have many doubts about these toy microscopes for children, in addition to the poor optical quality, they get tired very quickly and often, if in a moment they arouse curiosity they can lead to disinterest in microscopy very soon and that requires patience, with this I am not saying that we should start to teach immediately with an expensive microscope, no, but at least a modest binocular that would invite much more and would strain the eyes less would be much better, a monocular is never practical and rarely allows great satisfaction especially for children.

Wise words. You Can see from the video that there are interesting things to see through the microscope, but yes the monocular is hard to use and the field of view is very small.
For the age group I think they are useful to introduce microscopic biology but I wish they had better optics.

@@adventuresci :Thank you for your sincere and prompt reply ; I am a microscopist now at an advanced age, I started using the microscope as a child, now I own 4 of excellent quality, and I try to teach this passion, for this reason it would be very important to teach the use of the microscope with a good quality one , in order to encourage the discovery of the microworld more; a toy microscope will never be able to give satisfaction to a child, there are decent binocular microscopes even for just over $ 100 but they are money much better spent than a microscope with plastic lenses. 😉👍

@@feisarplinsky5496 I'll add a binocular microscope to my review list for later and it would be useful to do a comparison. Thanks for the information!
