I had a tub just like that about 45 years ago. No clue on age. I upgraded mine with newer landing gear and rode the hell out of it on the hills in Little Rock, AR. I used it to pick up thrown out bicycles in Belle Mead NJ later on. At one point I had about 50 bicycles in my parent's basement there. I quickly harvested the good parts and tossed the rest.
The kid who had that wagon ran it hard! With the wagon jacked up, it will be great for swap meets at the shows. You don't have to bend over so far to get things in and out of it! 😂👍
You just never know what Road King is going to get into next! Pimp that wagon!
Yeah Buddy!!☻
I laughed out loud when you showed the mockup with the big wheels - it's gonna be great!
Thanks Chris!! That's funny, Lil' Dirtbike did the same thing!! He walked in the Garage and just Busted a Gut!!☻
Thanks!
That's going to be "over the top" but it sure will roll over rough terrain nicely.
Looks like a fun project, looking forward to seeing your imagination run wild.
😮😮😮😮😮😮 Road king always surprises❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Radio Flyer Monster Truck!
Yeah Buddy!!☻
Kind of anxious to see what R K's imagination comes up on this wagon.
I like your idea.
Thanks Buddy!!☻
I like to see how you do it to restore it I think it'll be turned out real perfect thank you for the video
Thank you Lil' Joe!!☻
Great Project RK, 👍🏻
It will be cool. Contact Radio Flyer they will tell you where to find the numbers on bottom of the pan. They sell replacement parts. I received one last year that I will restore but haven’t checked the age. I just bought a antique Fill-up with Bill-ups wagon, hope to restore one day.
Fun build!
Yeah Buddy!! Alot less complicated than a Goofy Cart!!☻
Put a Briggs on it!
Wheels look a little big,😂 but be great if they work, thanks for sharing, all the best to you and your loved ones
Thank you Donald!! One way or another we'll make it work!!☻
Super Project ! When I met Big Daddy Ed Roth at a car show in Cincinnati, years ago; he had a Radio Flyer he had Hopped Up with big tires and a Briggs motor. Your's kinda reminds me of his Hot Rod Wagon. Looking forward to your creation RoadKing. ! ! !
...Newk from Kentucky
Thanks Newk!!☻
i want the first ride.
Nuffa This!
My old wagon has bearings in the wheels. A little oil and it’s as good as new. That looks like a little too much wheel to me. Might be hard to pull around at the shows in the dirt? Good luck and Cheers Buddy
Thanks Lloyd!! I agree, that's alotta wheel!! I would downsize if I found a good set of smaller wheels cheap!!☻
RK- surely you jest- that’s a lotta rubber!!
I kid you not Tom!!☻
And don't call me Shirley!😂
Not sure what year that one is. I had one that I got in either 1963 or 1964. Had a ball with that for years. With those big wheels and tires kind of reminds me of the old Big Foot but you can call it the Monster wagon! lol
👍👍
Cool RK 😁
I have an old rusted sleigh that I intended to restore but my family and I are going through some hardship so I’m wondering if you’re close enough that I can give it to you or possibly ship it to you and you can make a restoration video for it.
I just took the top boards off of my old wrecked in the 70s "Speedaway" snow sled and replaced the cracked plywood on my creeper with them. Turned out pretty cool.
Looking at the one side with the name it also has a phone number, since it is a 11 digit number I would guess that this one is an early to mid 60's model.
What was the intended use of those things? Because the design of the handle seems to allow it to be driven from the inside and I can imagine kids going down hills on it at 60 mph
The "vintage" models I seen (made) in Spain had a fixed handle to be pulled or pushed by an adult... but I was born after safety was invented 😅
Where does the radio go then? :P
Lower it…

Taking the old Radio Fyler off road eh you sure you don't want to put a small engine on that ?
I had to watch this video again because we went to a tractor show. we one of those granny carts we filled that one right up so as soon as I see radio flying wagon for$ 22.00 I had to have it she ended up giving it to me for just$ 20.00 and the Radio Flyer was so much easier to pull than the granny cart I went on the Radio Flyer website and I was looking for the date and I couldn't find it on mine but the Radio Flyer kid is on the side of the thing very clear but mine's rusted too I had those little round red caps on my wheels I wanted to change the wheels too cuz it is more easier to take this car to the Tractor Show than it is the granny cart now they're saying where you can find the numbers is in the back of the seat or underneath I think they were saying or somewhere on the handle I looked at the website briefly and I figured I'd go down and look at it first before I talk to you it's in my basement again thank you for the video
I think alotta them had the info painted on them, but when they get rusted up that stuff is the first stuff to disappear!!☻
Lift it and put it on 33s.
And I'm not watching Bleeping Jeep. 😂
That was over before it got started... 805, where did you get the bottle that held your 50-50 mix? Never seen a bottle like that... Looking forward to seeing this restomodded wagon...lol... R.K. take care and God Bless...
Thanks Gary!! I got that bottle on ebay, just type in PRESSOL 06866, they're about $16 each!!☻
@@805ROADKING Thx RK.. I'LL ck it out...
I had one like that back in the early 60s. How's the hip?
The hip is getting better everyday, I'm pleased with the progress!! I think we might survive after all!!☻
@@805ROADKING Same here. The joys of aging.
Sorry, not liking the giant tires. It's getting old & tired like spiderwebs and skulls on "rat rods".
