Paul Because you push what shots are even possible your camera skills and knowledge should not be slighted. I have a perfect application for ssm.... I actually think of you as my go to when the project (confidential for now) is ready and can bring you on. Thanx also for the great Ember review. Nurk there is no substitute!
Another awesome video/lesson Nurk. Maybe you should revisit the dude with the spinning fire balls. That was one to remember for sure. Thanks again keep them coming I'm watching.
@@NURKFPV Are there any scale RC Stunt Bi-Planes that could do the smoke & tricks???🤔...add a scale size wing walker onto the top wing for "detail interest"!!!
Try to take this thing - on a shooting range filming bullets coming out of the barrell. - On a stunt cheerleader performance with dancers getting thrown into the air - On an airbase with Jet engines firing - On a polo match with all the dirt flying around and riders making quick turns.
I wonder what composite shots would look like. The truck going through the puddle at normal, or near normal speed and the waterfall in super slowmo. Normal speed golf buggy over the bridge + slowmo waterfalls. Mix n match composite shots with different relative slowmo speeds.
HUGE improvement over the wave! The biggest challenge I've encountered I just how good it is at seeing the imperfections of the drone it's mounted to! any kind of oscillations you might have (damaged prop, funky tune, wind) shows up clear as a bell! (I'm talking 400+hz oscillations) I saw little glimpses of that in some of the clips you shared here like the subtle vibrations at the slow shot at 01:07 , was that a pretty constant struggle? or more intermittent? 🙏🏻
I own the Red Komodo... but when i do Handheld it is not very stable. How stable is this camera when filming handheld? Would you say it is shaky? I just hate using a steadicam because set up is a pain. Would love to know if you have any handheld footage in 24fps. Thank you sir
Nice man! I’ll be ripping one this weekend on a 6” vulture. I’ll be moving slow but should be pretty sick either way. I’m powering it using a 12v polulu and bringing a bunch of little 4s HV packs as a back up to power directly. How’d you power it on your build?
Awesome video! I had a question about the Ember... can you use regular Sony lenses like the 100-400mm in manual focus mode? Or do they have to be cine lenses? Thanks!
It seems for a faster production workflow you would need 2 bodies for one kit, so that you can have the A body offloading its mag while you can continue to shoot on the B body. Form factor is amazing vs the Phantom Flex 4k. But the non removable mag seems to be an almost killer for selling it to film producers.
Just fyi, some USB-C cables transfer faster, it might help with the transferring of files, unless of course it is bottlenecked by either the cam, or the device you are downloading to. Some usb-c cables transfer at some crazy high speeds. Hope this helped!
I tried a couple different ones -- I've had the experience that you're describing with different cables. The fastest that I was getting out of the camera was only about 250-300 mbps, which was dissappointing. The fastest that I've gotten across my USBC bus on my computer is closer to 520 or so..
@@NURKFPV yea, that is def disappointing, hopefully when you get your on personal edition, they can fix(or upgrade if it’s not a “problem” in their eyes” if you want to do a lot of work, for slightly better speeds, you could change the port on the cam, and that might help, but it might just be a low-ish quality nvme on the cam.
Cf express has like a max speed of 4000MB/s. The is no good reason to integrate the storage. There is also no reason to design it in a way that u can't just pop in and out the ssd. They could learn something from the icydock thougharmor lineup! Anyway great video loved it!
Great work, great video. One thing. You are not filming, you need film for that. You produce digital videos. You are very talented. But, filming and digital video require different skill sets. Say shoot or produce or leave the identifier out. Keep up the good work.
I'll bet it's just a Crucial/Micron 4tb M.2, as they're great value for money. Why they couldn't make it removable is beyond me. Dumb choice. Other than that, very cool camera.
Dude, you are an example to be followed. Your constant and tireless evolution has always been very inspiring to me.
Holy f***, game changer. These SlowMo dynamic moving shots look unreal!
Gravity defying moves. Like pointg straight down, dives and inverted/rolls would look so cool in super slow motion.
good to see you're looking after yourself better Nurk.
Definitely best shots were on the FPV. Thats awesome

I need to see this flown through a fire work display!!
Awesome to see it has "Global Shutter"!🤗
Same here!

Looking great Nurk! Keep up the great content 👍
Beautiful quality out of that camera, wow.
it's insane!
Thanks you... Now i need one lol. Great content man!
absolutely love the cam!
It's so cool
Glad I watched til the end. Worth it haha
Oh wow this review came at a perfect time because i already think about wich one will be my way to go for, thx for this great review
Glad the timing worked!
great and fun work as always, thank you nurk!
Glad you enjoyed it! It was a bast!
I enjoyed the video with the Freefly Wave you’ll did and bet it is even better with the Ember
This camera is a huge step up -- hopefully the video lives up to the hype :P
Best vlogging camera ever. ;)
Dude, you're looking so much fitter. Congrats. The video is cool too.👍
Another awesome video as always. I would love to see fireworks
Drift look awesome!
Broooo please post a link to your lut packs. This looks AMAZING
Amazing! I enjoyed this video
See if you can chase a stunt airplane with it! That would be some epic footage!
Cant wait to see how we can use this to get some more amazing @throwflame flamethrower shots
We tried to set it up!
awesome flying but - did you redo the outro in super slo mo for future use?
That's a great idea that I didn't think of while I had the camera.
Fantastic!
Nurk, how did you mount the dji transmitter to the top of fx6?
Dude so sick!! Chase a RC jet with that setup. Thanks for sharing. God bless
I think that's one of those things that would just look slow.. maybe with some flares or smoke or something

I'm stoked with how it turned out!

I powered it using a built in d tap connector on the CMW Thrustmaster
What about paralaxing (is that how u use it?) a exploding firework/fireworks, at maybe late dusk, so u can kind see the trajectory of the rocket?
SpaceX can I come film a launch?
@@NURKFPV yeaaaaaaa
Btw you should actually reach out to them , they have an FPV guy for Tesla and they film their launches with drones sometimes
A Destruction Derby would look epic with slow mo on a drone.
One question if shooting 1000fps 4k how much recording time did you have on the camera
I didn't actually check but it would have been around 45 minutes I think
@@NURKFPV cheers for the reply
I've been playing with shooting slowmo with Trap shooting... I think that would be an awesome thing for you to try out.
Drift cars would look awesome on that camera
Insane

were these shots stabilized in post?
There was zero post stabilizaton on any wave footage

Please put a lightweight carbon cage with shock absorbers around that camera and lens to protect it from crashes. Thank you

I think the model that the inspire 3 uses could work really well as well. It's a full SSD that just pops in and out and has a USBC port on it
Crashing thru the glass or windows in superslowmo would be nuts.
Bring it to IO and get some action shots at the SL race lol
Paintball tournaments would be sick to see at 1000fps, but I don't have $18k for this camera :(
we need more dept gyroflow tutorial for Cine camera 😭😭
please 🙏
What do you need to know? It's pretty plug and play now
When you have the same taste in stock music xD
So can you fly this through a lightning storm with a drone? whadyaa think hehe :D
A juggler, with 5 flaming chainsaws. That'd be a fun shoot, dontcha think? Put her on a unicycle. . .
Sold
Has anyone used this camera while shooting against a green screen? If yes, how was the edge quality for keying?
I have to imagine it's good because you're at such a high shutter speed.
