Cleaning Hard Water Rings Off Marble

We have hard water and dark rings developed on the marble counter around our bathroom faucet. I decided to clean the rings off while replacing the faucet. Luckily these rings did not stain into the marble and they were removed with a metal scrubber and some Bon Ami cleaner. Our marble is honed so I didn't have to worry about scratching a polished surface. If you try this, double check that it isn't damaging your marble finish (or maybe it's better to have the rings off and some scuffs?).

This is inevitable unless you clean frequently with something like CLR or your can install a whole house water treatment system...

The powder is linked in the description. It's Bon Ami and I would test it out on a non visible spot before using it widely.

For stains I use hydrogen peroxide and ammonia. Soak a cloth the size of the area leave it over night with a glass or plastic covering, so that it doesn’t dry out. Works for my careers marble ,
