This could happened in the alternative universe where Kiryu failed to stop ichiban from going down the villainous path in front of Bleach japan's office. Ichiban killed omi alliance members and Yagami has to put him back to jail.
When i think about Yagami and Ichiban kinda share some similarities They both have a captain of a Yakuza family that hates them but ends up somewhat warming up to them in the end, they both associate a Yakuza patriarch as their father figure, and they both have their own crew that they work with a lot
Ichiban is a great round fighter as well, able to bounce off walls and improvise attacks in the middle of another as seen in the Sawashiro first fight. It's a shame they don't keep showing his techniques more than that.
I always wanted to see how actually could be his proper beat 'em up fighting style. I'm positive he'd have at least two basic stances: a Majima-esque Slugger style for his Hero stance (using his legendary bat) and his Freelance mode would be similar to Brawler style. I don't see any other style that would fit well in a BTU style for him but those two.
Hmmm Once you've done Takeshi Kido vs Shigeki Baba, here's something to consider: Akutsu vs Kenmochi. Two big, flashy, buff guys who are basically like the Second In Commands for their respective gangs (Akutsu being the Officer for RK, and Kenmochi being the Frontman for Crimson Lotus)
Funny thing is, I've got a headcanon/origin story for these two kogchamps... As kenmochi hears of akutsu's death on the news, he wanted to feel happy, but all he felt was dispair. Kenmochi recollects his youth, and how he failed in life... They were once brothers, however the two had completely different personalities, akutsu was a thug while kenmochi was a good kid. The rift only grew as akutsu quickly became his school's delinquent leader, and abandoned his family, and his little brother to chase a life of crime. Kenmochi despised akutsu as such, and did everything he could to distance himself from his brother, even changing his family name. One night, as kenmochi and his frat headed for a drink, they ran into his estranged brother... now a full fledged yakuza. Upon seeing his brother, akutsu mocked kenmochi and jokingly recruited his younger brother into the tojo clan. Of course, this pissed kenmochi off, and the two fought one another that night. After that encounter, the brothers never met again. Fast forward, kenmochi and his frat were unable to sustain rhizome, just as their lil' venture was about to fold, sadamoto stepped in, with one condition... Now, kenmochi had truly failed. All his efforts were in vain as he became the crimson lotus frontman. The life as a gangster took a toll on kenmochi's mental health, and as the years went on, it only declined further as he and crimson lotus committed more heinous acts... soon kenmochi became an alcoholic, and doubled down on his rowdy persona as a coping mechanism for his guilt and depression. That's the gist of it. There's more details but this will do
@@Editingmang0 WOW. Just amazing. I really love how you put Kenmochi and Akutsu as bros! It really fleshes them out a little more than just being flashy big guys.
@PsychoGenius クトヒョウ I’m not so sure Yagami would effortlessly be able to defeat Han Joon Gi lookalike and Zhao. Those are the two heavy hitters of the group that seem like they’d be very capable fighting on their own
@@Dmvgold1995 I can see these two being in the same tier as Kuze in Yakuza 0, so I would say the whole Ichiban gang would probably give Yagami as much trouble as Kuroiwa did
In LAD you can fight with up to 4 characters, Ichiban included, right? So it would only be fair, if Yagami had a little back up as well. Possible teams: Mainstory: Kaito, Sugiura, Higashi. JE Substories: Ryan, Cane Man, Tanago. LJ Substories: Mikimoto, Ghost, Kenya. I don't think Ichiban's crew would win against any of these constellations. The mainstory team is probably the most balanced one, with Kaito's raw power, Sugiura's agility and Higashi having a little bit of both. In the JE subs. one, every member has special abilities, like Ryan's stealth, Cane Man's insane weapon skills (even including magic-tricks, as seen during the long battle) and Tanago being almost impossible to hit. And in the LJ version we have 3 fight addicts, with two of them having vast experience against not only the strongest underground fighters, but professional fighters as well and the other one being a brute, who took out an entire army of Kehin Members and terrified one of their leaders to the point, where he would not even try to fight him again, something not even Yagami was able to do.
Not so sure about it. If we talking just about 1v1 Yagami and Ichiban, Yagami is sure has more technique and agility, but Ichi is stronget physically i think, and he has a will power too, and he prowed that he is not a pushover either. So he can atleast put up a decent fight or get a draw. If we talking about yagami vs crew, zhao and joon-gi can sure make a trouble, and they are backed with others, so yagami can loose on this one. If we talking about crew vs crew, Yagami boys win
@@gazover_ So you agree with me on the crew vs crew scenario, but which variation of possible teams are you referring to? In regards to the one-on-one fight, I think even a draw would be impossible for Ichiban. Yagami is way smarter, has just as much willpower if not more than Ichiban, is a lot more composed as well. And I don't think strength wise Yagami is that much weaker than Ichiban. He is capable of lifting a motorcycle and smashing it on his opponents after all. And he has defeated enemies that were physically stronger than Ichiban, like Kaito, Honda, all the heavyweight boxers and so on. If it was Yagami alone against Ichiban's party, then I'd say Ichiban would probably win. But only because I don't consider characters like Mr. Shakedown and the Amon members to be canon. But a lot of people do. In that case Yagami would wipe the floor with Ichiban and his team regardles. Not only did he win against the same Amon of LAD and did so alone, but in LJ he defeated another even stronger Amon too. And in that case we would have to consider the special powers he gets from those extracts canon as well. But even without all of this, there is a chance he could win against them, considering that the final boss Ichiban and his team members fought against, was a former boxer and Yagami defeated Japan's strongest still active boxers, who haven't been exactly saints in the past either, on his own. Not to mention, he defeated assassins, who were on a whole different level than Joon-gi Han.
