For anyone wondering why my stats look so weird or why Kiryu/Majima/Saejima deal so little damage, it's because doing this fight solo was only possible after using a bunch of defense boosting drinks and ultra boosters to get 300+ extra defense.
One missed perfect guard at 5:23 and the run would be all over. Dam! I didn't think this would even be possible considering how many turns the AI would get in the latter half and you'd just be healing yourself than dishing out any damage. Excellent work!
You think this is bad ? I had every single job maxed out for everyone and I still lost after I tried to be cocky and attacked the ghosts out of the order suggested by online guides, taught me a thing or two about humility
they show the stats at the last like 2 seconds of the video, for reference though I'll sum up what the main reasons he could do it are to put it simply the game has stat boosters and once your def is around 800 his is like 849 I believe, you can tank even the final tower, if you go up to I believe around 1200 def orbital strike from amon does like 40 dmg or sum his attack is slightly above 1200 which this fights doable with even just shy of 800 attack, but once you pass an enemies hidden def number that they personally have your damage starts multiplying by alot, I think amons is 1150 or something, I know at 1600 attack a freelancer can on average 5 shot amon lastly his magic is right under 1100, for this fight specifically melee is better then magic due to amons resistances, but that being said for the tower itself having between 1200 and 1300 is enough to make the orbital strike wipe enemies
Those are the hard part. The bosses are way easier than the normal enemies (even Amon, if you aren't going solo). If you haven't, make sure you've got an Idol and coverage for all the damage types on the other three. Good luck!
The normal millennium tower sucks takes too long to get exp. Do invested Vagabond runs in Dungeon 2F of Kamurocho. That nets about 450,000 normal exp and 413k Job experience depending on their current active job. What you should do is prioritize on Job experience charms. Eg. If you have a Dealer Job on Eri or Saeko equip 2 X the bow tie charm (one for each slot) and get x2.0 Job experience for Dealer Job on that one character. If you only have one charm then the multiplier will be 1.5x instead. So for the vagabond run you can net 826k experience per vagabond encounter. Note not all jobs you can get two charms unless you play NG+. The normal Millennium Tower is good for money farming. Approx ¥77,000,000 per farm for about 30 mins of work. Equip (Nouveau crown on each character, i.e. 7 crowns even the ones not in your active party to get 2.0x gold. On top of that drink a Sengoku drink at the start of the boss encounters to gain Yen. I found Maejima the easiest with boost nets you ¥14,400,000 in one hit.
@@shadowmm1365 you can buy them at most stores. The closest one is the vending machine when you come out from the Sotenburi battle arena turn left of up the stairs the first vending machine you can buy 5 at a time.
I'm just saying this rn for if your curious, the sheer ungodly amount of not def boosters you need, not def because, literally lv 99 job plus lv 99 character means you need only like 300 or 400 extra def to make this fight a literal cakewalk, but no, the attack value, freelancer is so weak, you'd need like an extra 300-400 to makeup for not having a weapon, then an extra 300-500 to do substantial damage to the boss to make the fight not 10-20 minutes long, and even then I would genuinely say 700 extra attack might be worth grinding for that type of fight
Could be wrong here but if i remember correctly at around 4000 magic damage your orbital strike always hits 9999 damage on the strongest enemy in the game, which is amon, attack is the same way, mostly aside from the fact attack requires a third more of numbers to equal magic or something close to that, so for example, you attack at 1200 is similar to damage from magic at 800, i dont believe that damage can go past 9,999 unles im incorrect and its 99,999, but im pretty sure the game caps at 9,999 because even if you over stat buffed yourself you'd only need to be at 2000 stats on def to be immortal to everything but the instakill moves (theres a sidequest item that negates those), and you only need honestly an magic of 1200-1400 to kill amon in a reasonable time, to do amon just melee as brawler it'd be about 1700 or 2100 attack to handle amon in a reasonable amount of time, Basicly the gist of what im saying is im pretty sure they'd hit the same because at about 4000-4400 they both hit for the dmg cap of 9999
