4:06 if you we're wondering why corey was pissed at sid, it was cuz they had cameras on their masks during that show and sid jumped into the crowd at one point and lost it
@@picax8398 Not only that, but they were recording a DVD with those cameras, and it was supposed to include footage of all 9 members with their respective cameras, so yeah it’s something to be really pissed about lmao. Thankfully a fan recovered the camera and gave it to the band after they finished the show and we got some really awesome footage of the crowd seen on the My Plague video
@urielandbb9725 The cameras they were wearing were super expensive and rented. Sid was apparently told before the show to not get into the crowd, but he still did.
@@urielandbb9725they needed to use those recordings for a DVD they were doing, so if sid lost it, or somebody in the crowd snatched the camera off him, well, those recordings would be lost
Reason why Corey and Sid got into a fight and started yelling was because they were filming the Disasterpieces live dvd with POV Camera shots with expensive cameras given to them by Roadrunner and they told Sid specifically NOT to crowd surf because of the camera and he did it anyway and lost the camera which is why Corey was livid at him, luckily a fan returned it after the show.
I mean that yes, but also Corey was a raging alcoholic lmao. The two of them nearly got into a fist fight only a few years back as well, like those two have a serious sibling-like relationship.
6:32 if you’re wondering, Sid broke both of his heels during one show after he jumped and fell on the stage. He finished the whole set in a chair and was wheeled out during the rest of the tour I believe
Iirc, the reason that Corey thinks he fainted, he doesn't know, is because between the mask, the jumpsuit, and the lights it's already super hot. Factor that they were in Dallas that night and it was extra hot. Then the pyro was eating up all of the oxygen because it was fueled by propane, he does a bunch of screaming, and it was a recipe for disaster. He blacked out and that was that.
I went to see Slipknot live when I was 14 (2010) and both Clown and Sid come down from the stage where giving out high fives and interacting with fans as one of the songs was playing. I got to high five clown and it was awesome.
That's Fucking awesome. If or when your able you should go to another Slipknot concert. Pay extra to meet band just to tell Corey that story. I'm betting he'd love that! And he might get a little emotional because his Love for Clown was like a brother. He's been continuing touring because Clown would tell him to. And Loosing Joey didn't help especially since they didn't get to talk and make up. Which I know they would have liked to. Just a idea. I really think Corey would appreciate it.
Just saw slipknot live for the first time at download earlier this week they were fucking amazing loved every minute and did my first ever crowd surf 🔥
I saw Slipknot live for the first time last week. I had to give up my front position three songs in because it turns out a Slipknot moshpit is basically an all-encompassing human meat grinder and I nearly lost my glasses.
Some people think it's still Craig, just in a new mask. I thought the same about Chris. Let's face it. Also Corey fainted it was from all those things you said. It's hot AF on that stage with the fire etc. The band essentially had taken over the world with two albums in about 3 or 4 years. They really had no intentions of staying together forever.
So you gotta think, at the point 4:06 in the video, Corey Vs. Sid, the band was towards peak/ or on their way to peak anger and rage towards everything and everyone. They were in the darkest places in their minds and everyday was a battle to be able to keep from either hurting themselves or others until they could let loose on stage. That and the multitude or drinking/drugs/and depression didn’t help either.
Alex you said what band had the most beef with each other in the same band was Mayhem a norwegian black metal band and the beef was with Euronymous and Varg Vikernes, Varg Vikernes stab Euronymous to death, and that’s not all the whole band had some problems it was crazy, if you want to get a better understanding of this just watch this movie about them called- Lords of Chaos it’s a crazy movie man but it be a good movie for the channel one day, and Alex love your videos as always man keep up the great work.

I’ve seen Slipknot a few times…met Corey too! He was really chill, he had long frizzy rainbow hair at the time lol, but the first time I saw them, my bf and I made sure to be right up front against the barrier…huuuuge mistake…the minute they came on stage everyone went insane and pushed forward and I’m only 5’3” so I literally got completely crushed and could not breathe…needless to say we immediately had the guards help us out! You’re concert story was just like mine. I’m 5”1 and was 103 lbs. we were at Marilyn Manson on New Year’s Eve in Las Vegas! I couldn’t breathe and was crushed against the railing! I begged security for a drink of his water. He gave me a sip. I passed out. Great concert though!
Slipknot means the world to me…my very first concert in 2016 Clown came up 26 rows cuz he saw me head banging standing and holding on to my wheelchair and embraced me in the warmest and sweatiest hug..I was in shock and everyone was screaming and crying around us..Then I met Corey during one of his book signing tours and he was late to a stone sour gig cuz the manager told him I was wheelchair dependent but coming to see him..nobody better never say anything bad about Slipknot…
The Gallagher brothers from Oasis have a very strained relationship. They've fought each other, had verbal spats and slammed each other in interviews. There's plenty of videos of the two of them and their relationship.
Sid was hobbling over to his DJ setup because he jumped from high up and broke his fall wrong. Theres footage of it happening, i dont know why it isnt in the video, but even then it isnt that hard to follow along.
Plenty of bands have had infighting. As you said, it’s kind of expected. Close quarters, lots of high stress situations, exhaustion, differences of opinion, and so on and so forth and you tend to end up with a recipe for arguments. What makes or breaks the band is how they handle those arguments. An example of a band that has had publicly known issues off the top of my head would be Metallica during the time where Jason Newsted was the bassist. Main issue was how Kirk, Lars and James did not take the proper time to grieve and mourn for Cliff, the bassist on their first three albums who died tragically in a bus accident, and it lead to a lot of negative reactions to Jason joining the band. Also keep in mind this is where James became a full fledged raging alcoholic. So yeah… not so fun times for Jason being the new guy/odd man out.
these moments show why each member is important to the band. Craig vs Clown. Who would imagine that today? but it did, and it's one of many moments where Craig has some focus, now imagine the whole crew hehe I love these guys
Seen Slipknot seven times and every single gig where I've been i got some bruises. Some of them are little, one healed two months 😅 I got hitted by a crowd, badly. My first concert was Slipknot 20+ years ago. We were at a venue that had theatre box office seats on the side and Sid came out and flipping off the box seats all the way down to the crowd and I got to rub his greasy ass hair lol.
My buddy and I went to see slipknot at a pretty small venue years ago. During their set we see fans jumping off the 2nd story balcony, landing on other unsuspecting fans. My gaze shifts to directly above me and i see a security guard tackle a dude about to jump on top of me. At this moment i notice the band has stopped playing so i turn to the stage and see that this is the JTFU moment and only 3 people are standing. Me, my buddy and an extremely overweight guy who was struggling to squat. Corey points directly at me and screams "I SAID GET THE UCK DOWN!!!!" which i did very quickly lol. Concert went on, everyone jumped and i was left with a pretty cool memory.
Bands fist fight all the time. Typicap scenario of 2 dudes getting drunk, 1 doesnt agree with the others performance so they start yelling which leads to fists flying. Lamb of gods randy and mark got into a fist fight on the killadelphia dvd that i have, i have watched it many times over🤘🤘
Metallica in the early years had a lot of trouble due to James alcohol problems (maybe addiction not sure). I think the "Some kind of Monster" documentary showed deep details about it.
On Corey vs Sid, bands are like relationships. I've been in a few bands. All males. It's like having a bunch of boyfriends. Haha. Seeing that interaction between them doesn't make me flinch. I've never had a dispute that bad but I play in a local band while Slipknot was riding on the success of their first album at that time. Way more pressure. I get a kick out of that and remember how small time I am and try to not worry about the hiccups.
6:36 Bruv, back in the day, that was every show, multiple times, to the point where they got "Allegedly" sued for attempted suicide, and they HAD to stop.
Lol Slipknot might actually be the most dysfunctional band, I remember reading a revolver that had Corey on the cover, and that was over a decade ago, but he mentioned how often the band would fight.

When it comes to band fights, nothing beats Mark Morton and Randy Blythe from Lamb of God having a fist fight back in '04.
Basically them acting like Motley Crue alot of similar stuff.
hey Alex, are you going to any of the Metallica concerts from the new tour?

You should check out Ben Gordon from Parkway Drive when he drummed upside down!
i was at mayhem i think ‘08 and it was the year sid broke his feet and corey had us all chant “you broke your fucking feet sid!” and i’ll never forget that lol
The number two well sid jumped from a high place and broke his heels so he finished the show having his both heels broken and did the rest of the tour in a wheelchair
Passed out at ozzfest 2005 woke up on top the crowd being surfed to the stage awsome experience yes i was dehydrated
I will always say hands down subliminal versus Corey Taylor mask amazing so cool

What band was the most toxic?
Mötley crüe, guns 'n roses, the rolling stones: hold my heroin bro, i got you!
The only band I ever watched songs of breakup turmoil from was ABBA - Slipknot just messed me up now.
EDIT: After watching this video. My conclusion is that Slipknot are SHIT!
Bands fist fight all the time. Typicap scenario of 2 dudes getting drunk, 1 doesnt agree with the others performance so they start yelling which leads to fists flying. Lamb of gods randy and mark got into a fist fight on the killadelphia dvd that i have, i have watched it many times over🤘🤘
Ahh I'd probably say Mayhem lol just a wild guess
How tf did Corey catch on fire AND clown catch on fire TWICE, yet no one in Rammstein has been caught on fire?... unintentionally that is lol
They keep catching on fire because Sid is lighting them on fire. Classic harmless prank....
Benson did it in Regular Show💀
Most toxic inner band drama has to be Fleetwood Mac hands down
Me to Alex and i agree motherfuckin amazing 🤘🤘🤘🤘
I’m surprised you haven’t listened to THe Warning “..rock band
One 🎉
This video has been done sooo many times before.come on man
Metallica in the early years had a lot of trouble due to James alcohol problems (maybe addiction not sure). I think the "Some kind of Monster" documentary showed deep details about it.
Yeah especially during the Jason years. Lots of issues came from Cliff’s death and how it negatively impacted the other guys.
