RT rear brake line in way n wont come off, but you can't put a socket or wrench on top caliper bolt. Unreal design

The torque spec for the pin bolts seems extremely high. Is that the correct spec?

I guess everyone is afraid of doing a right rear 09 Mitsubishi Lancer caliper and bracket when caliper bolts round n bolt extraction sockets dont work. Remove as assembly.

Attempting my first caliper replacement. When I disconnect the break line will it only drip as shown here or will it gush out? Should I clamp the line? TYIA.

That upper caliper bolt isn't near the hose, allows you to get socket in there. I got new caliper n rotor and disc brakes. If you've seen 09 Lancer you'll see what I'm talking about. Anyways, I got everything off, replaced everything and still have a grinding sound. I did it twice, I don't see anything rubbing, backing plate is clear yet RT rear is grinding sound and the tire will lock up even after all new parts. Checked new caliper piston and it's free n easy to move. Anything else I mat have missed that would cause that metal on metal sound n occasionally will lock up the tire.? E brakes, shoes look good, the backside of old rotor was perfect yet outside rotor was not pretty at all, small grooves, not deep. I so stumped. Ideas?

Why is the new part so clean?

See how easy that was on Outlander, vs a Lancer. You can't put upper bolt in with brake hose on. Crap design for Lancer rear disc setup

I really wanna see someone remove a 2009 Mitsubishi Lancer Right Rear brake caliper. These vids are not for Lancer nor similar. I've worked on cars all my life, 1st the lower caliper bolt 14mm rounded, no socket or wrench will go on brake line, not hose, they are in the way of socket or wrench. It's always sumthn, then right lower rounded 6 point socket top easy n rounded lower. After sprayed 2 days with pb blaster. A quick 30 minute job just made me lose my mind. Next morning I got this....nope. branch went thru windshield.....lol. such an easy job, never fails on my cars. Customers, no problem. Not mine....Lmao Then rotor, rt rear, scarred up, removed abs sensor, brake line omg, twisted. Made new lines, waiting on my luck to change, soooo, I'll be done by 2023, new yrs resolution. New rotors and calipers w/brackets, new lines n abs sensor Rt rear n Lord help me left rear lower w/heat n bolt extraction sockets lol didn't work. Took a ride on my bike a cpl hrs to clear my head. Came home n just laffed. Good thing Va has 4 months on inspection sticker. Out-of Feb 1st. Not in shop either, outside n I'm so fkn sad. No $$, disabled n loving it. But I try n work, while others live off government. Thanks guys have a wonderful Thanksgiving and be safe, enjoy your family time. God bless

The old part ...looks like the new one was put on. Then the video was shot to show how to take off what you just put on.
