How to host a successful meet up

Hello lovely people
I've been to a few meet ups during my time and have heard my fair share of horror stories so I thought I'd give some advice for people who want to become masters at organising meets.
Most people in your local lolita comm are likely to be lovely people so be sensible and give it a go. If they are unhinged there will be people out there for you.
If you're still reading this please comment if you are into dressing like a casual gay.
