Why is gothic lolita so expensive?

Hello lovely people
Today I thought I'd approach this topic from the perspective of someone in the fashion world.
Many people are used to fast fashion and hence the prices and compared to lolita, lolita is expensive. But is lolita comparable to fast fashion? Do we treat our Angelic Pretty and Moi meme motie the same as H and M, Primark and Zara?
