    0:08. No, the series adopted the Paper Mario moniker in Japan starting with TTYD. It was called "Paper Mario RPG" in Japan.

    Not only am I really hoping that they stick with the TTYD remake art direction, but I’m also hoping they stick with the original character design so that it doesn’t just look like ‘paper new super Mario brothers’

    It still annoys me that "realistic" graphics got so popular in the early 2000s

    I hate the series looking like carboard and the characters having overtly papery effects on their models at all times so Sticker Star's art style is a huge negative to me. The beta art style was way better.
    Paper Mario 64 has the best art style in the series.
