Well young lady where have you been hiding…. I know this has been up for a few years but I just discovered you today.. I was cruising Old Johnny Winter pieces and came across you. I noticed your vid under one of Johnnys of the same tune.. Love your slow blues.. Nice keyboards.. Nice work on the Epi.. Great band all around.. Old Blues players are hard to come by these days.. Keep it up.. great work.. JUST LOVE IT>>.
Can a lady play the blues? Yes she can. Super Great. The musicians are right on time.
You are making BB King proud, keep it up
Great blues band I would see them
Muy buena Flo! Keep on bluesin!
Great stuff!!!!
My kinda stuff girl, keep it up
une voix superbe , sans artifices , simple , une musique également sans fioritures !!!!! bravo !!!

bravissima
where is this lady from?
(lo siento que mi espanol no es muy bueno..)
Flor, it really comes through that you've listened thoughtfully to the masters, and that you've worked hard to master all the subtle fretwork that goes into getting that effect. Congratulations.
Forgive me for pointing out a few things that I think would have made a better overall recording.
Levels: both keys and drums (terrific drumming) should be lower in the mix throughout, except, during piano solo, where piano could have been a bit louder
Keys, as background: could be a bit more restrained, less busy
Piano solo: (of course, it's very high calibre, but) for this genre, a less jazzy, less boogie-woogie, less melodically complex approach (mostly, that is; a sprinkling of monster flourishes now and again is fine) would enhance the rolling, swaying-in-a-hammock mood.
Vocals: I would suggest dropping a lot of the ornate Chicago blues siren effects; let more of your life story come through, and in your natural accent. Also good would be more resonance from the stomach & chest; this might have allowed this song to be done in a lower key. In short: get those vocal chords as relaxed+strong as your fingers.
Nice!!! Inspired by Johnny Winter.
Damn.
DO CARALHO!!! 💕
Jhonny Winter- It's my own fault
original of B B King but i love more the Johnny Winter version! from the progressive blues experiment album of 1969
Johnny never captured the soul that the blues greats had when they played this song. He played it in too much of a rock style. Loses all the feel.
Johnny Always wanted to play more blues but his manager sent him in a different direction witch was more r&r
you have no , zero idea of what you are talking about
@@mannishboy8200
The version of JDW has a lot more blues on it then this version. She sings it as flat and emotionless as you can.
I love their playing though.
you are bluesy-----sweet :-)
[ See Johnny Winter ]
Hot Hot Hot
supers loved ki fidji pk
Muy bien todo el grupo muy buen tema de blues. Tengo la impresión que le falta un poco de ganancia a la guitarra y quizá poco distortion felicidades !
