    Hi thanks for the video. Something I was looking into. Little bit of info for you. Dandelion grow in very compact soil and their roots can go ad deep as 6 to 8 feet. They are actually trying to loosen the earth, actual friend not the foe every makes them to be. Thanks again

    Just harvested a bunch from my yard. I don’t use sprays of any kind or have pets so I know they’re clean. I am harvesting the seeds and putting them in pots to create a medicinal garden that’s easier to harvest the roots. I also have catnip and it makes a fantastic tea for my anxiety.

    You could have a little shovel to get the roots. I can’t wait to pick some

    I saw on another channel that if you freeze the flowers for 10-20 minutes it will keep the flowers from fluffing.

      By fluffing do you mean during the drying time?

    • @MarlenevT
      @MarlenevT 4 месяца назад +1

      @@mountainvalleyrefuge yes... she picked them and put the flowers in the freezer and then dried them. She said this would prevent them from going to seed 'fluff' I wish I could remember who it was...

    I was excited to watch until I got to the part where you were digging up the root with a butter knife and fork.
    It was then when I realized that I would stop there. ❤

    I have a yard FULL that I am Edgar to eat…… but, since there’s no way to know if the yard has been sprayed with weed killer, should I have the soil tested first?

      I’m not sure if that will give you the answer you’re looking for! Maybe you could pick the leaves/flowers and wash them with a solution to get them clean. I haven’t looked into this, but a quick google search may come up with some solution to wash off chemicals
