Thank you! Loved it! Its been almost a year without reformer training, I left it at an intermediate level and then diagnosed with SI joint dysfunction and a couple of health issues. Stopped reformer for a while and now back on it. I have a reforme at my house because is my special treatment for all of my back issues. Im a PT.
Loved the way you presented yourself as an imperfect human being trying to do your best. Keep your classes that way. Many of us need this!

I just bought a cheap reformer off of fb marketplace and this was my first reformer workout. It was great! So glad I found something I can do that doesn't irritate my back injuries. Thank you so much for your workouts and positive attitude!

Thank you! I am so excited for this and more reformer workouts. I'm fairly new to Pilates, but invested in a home reformer and want to practice at home, as well as attending in person classes. Love your teaching style, so I am hoping you continue with more reformer classes. I would also love to see some intermediate videos. Super curious about standing/kneeling reformer exercises.

Hi Margaret, been a while (and an exhausting holiday with random workouts in between) since I've gotten on my reformer, SO I figured this "basic" was my speed today. I liked it! Great way for me to reawaken my body to all this. Question....on those side legs...you kept saying "make sure there's space between you and the bed"...not sure what you meant on that....can you explain? Tku and tks for your workouts! Feels good to get back to Pilates. ...can't weight to lose a few lbs so my belly doesn't feel like it's in the way of good core work! Lol....#Christmastreats #toooomany :)

Ummmmmm. I’m one of those that just bought a reformer. I got it second hand from goodwill. Great shape. Stopped Pilates in 2019, but missed it. I just did this beginners and I’m throughly excited to get back into it.

This was a great beginner one! Can you explain more what you mean though about space between the carriage on side lying work?
When you’re on your side, you want to keep the hips stacked and in order to help do that, you want to think about pushing the top him down towards the feet, and lifting up through the side body. So you want to find either a physical space between you and the carriage or just a sensation of lift, to help keep the hips in the right spot!

thanks for the video! i recently got an at home reformer, and the springs are different. there’s 5:two black,two red, and a yellow. how should i convert/adjust from the springs on your reformer so ik i’m getting the right resistance?
I would assume black are probably your two heaviest, red is middle and the one yellow is the lightest - for me it’s red are the heaviest, green/blue middle and yellow lightest. you might have to play around with it a little to figure out the right tension. But start there!
