Thanks. This was helpful. As a side note, that attached cord is elasticized and is designed to stretch and pop out to the right. Disconnecting it makes mounting the glove box a LOT easier. Then reattach the cord and you're done!
Very clear and straightforward video. You saved me at least $50. Before watching your video, I kept trying to bend the sides inwards so the glovebox swings down, but it wouldn't. Now I know how to remove it. Thank you very much!

Thank you for making this. It helped me a ton and I just bought this low mileage used one and the filter was very bad. Only issue I had was the small string support on the right it came loose. Otherwise it worked perfectly!
Regarding aftermarket filters, in my case a carquest premium. It was ever so slightly wider than OEM. By first fitting the filter into the cover both clips worked. Otherwise the filter would not slide easily into the cover, keeping the clips from snapping into place.
Changed mine after 8 months, dirty, filthy filter. It took me 1 hour, and several RUclips videos to get the P O S glove box and filter out, and changed.
You COULD, but compression will likely damage them and I don't think a vacuum will do a super good job. You can get cheaper new ones for like $5-$10 so I usually just change the thing. You could maybe reuse them once but I wouldn't recommend it just because the used filter won't do as good of a job.
Thanks!.. all the other videos tell you to squeeze in on the sides first, This will NOT work on a 2021. Your video is the only one that shows how to remove the newer model glovebox.
