Thank you so much for the video. It is a source of light on a verry dark path. I'm looking for some security on my car and with so maby options it is hard to pick without guidance. Here in East London car theft is crazy, last night one of my neighbours was stolen, it is insane already 😢 .

I want to win the tracker because 2 months ago, I don't know if you remember me, I delivered to you and told you, I have a Corolla 19 plate and was picking up an order from a petrol station after midnight, with my friend that just came back from holiday looking for a job and offering me company so he doesn't get bored at home. He got tired late at night and fell asleep on the passenger seat, stopped at one of the pumps at the station, hand break on then in park, and hesitate to push button to stop. I said in my head "Well I have someone in the car what are the odds" so proceeded collecting my order.
Well not long after entering the shop stayed about 1-2 minutes when got out a random dude was getting in the driver side.. ran to open the door, manager to grab him by his shirt collar, but he was so focused in driving away that de didn't se my friend there, and drove away while I was still holding his shirt. (Got some nice bruising and scratches)
Managed to yell at my friend before he drove away with me. Yooo he's taking my car, and he woke up sleepy, andkinda gave hima hug.🤣
After pulling out on the road, I assume he realised there is someone in the car stopped accelerating and car stopped in a curp. Got up, went over him and put the car in park. Someone comes to ask what happened I told him he tried to steal my car. And the thef had the oudaciti to tell him I knew him. ( like he knows me)..
And I said, "no I don't know him". He decided to not let him get out of the car my friend was on the passenger side so no way for him to run away. while I called the police.
15 minutes late police comes and took him away.
If I was alone would have to say bye bye to the car.. 😅
Sorry for the long story. And my bad English.
I would use a "bad smell" because that always comes back to me 🤷♂️🤣😉
Great video and really informative as with a lot of your other content.. Love to put myself forward to win the tracker as I'm going to be treating myself to a new car as a "f**k you" to cancer! I'm going in for surgery this week and should get the results in the next couple of weeks then it's off car shopping

Following your advice regarding the importance of proper installation, I don’t have an expensive car, but here around the car theft is insane.
New car being picked up next Saturday. Just looking at who can fit a Ghost II locally to a high standard but Thatcham S5 system would be perfect if we won. Thanks for the informative vids.
Highly recommend motorguard for Ghost-II, had one fitted on Monday to brand new Electric car which came with software compatibility complications but I could not fault knowledge and help! 👍🏻 Ghost-II working a treat & my 🤞🏻 for a tracker upgrade.

I called a couple of weeks ago regarding a Pandora smart pro system and asked to speak to someone with knowledge of the system. I asked if the system could be set to arm and disarm silently (dont want to wake the neighbours when I come home late). I was told it couldnt because I would be effectively turning off the siren if the vehicle got broken in to. This didnt sound right to me, so I phoned again a couple of hours later hoping to speak to someone different. The same person answered and I was told the same again but this time he said he would check with someone else. When he came back to me I was told it could do as I asked.
This isnt a direct “pop” at Motorguard but I feel if you have staff answering the phone saying they know the product, they should know the product. I now have second thoughts about using them and certainly wont phone for advice for fear of getting somebody who doesnt know the products they sell.
@@SquashysDaddy unfortunately modern systems are updated on a daily basis and staff answering phones are not technical and not installers. The amount of settings and customisation we can do with pandora and other modern systems is mind blowing and even myself as former tech support find new things all the time so it’s virtually impossible that the sales assistants would know. Due to workload in the workshop us technicians can’t take calls as we have 4-5 cars daily. If you or anyone reading this has a technical query then it’s best to email and I always respond (although not immediately as I’m installing).
