Love the mechanical key theory... I started my career replacing ignition barrel assembly's and repairing door locks that also took approximately 120 seconds to bypass... 4 to 5 vehicles per day.. showing my age now.

What would you recommend for a 2017 RR Sport Autobiography? Pandora or Ghost system?

Both are excellent choices and it comes down to what exactly you want. The Ghost is Immobiliser only and utilises buttons in the car to enter a disarm sequence where as pandora uses a tag which when in range disarms the system. With Pandora the range is bigger so you can have a stand alone immobiliser or go all the way upto a fully smart Alarm/Immobiliser with tracking. Drop our sales line a call and we’ll be happy to discuss the options and a suitable system for your budget.

Another great video Raf 👍 maybe do one about can invader theft method for Toyota / Lexus owners. I see posts on the owners forums people having the vehicle stolen ( some more then once ) or they have fitted an aftermarket immobiliser which stops the theft but then still get the vehicle wiring loom damaged with an expensive repair bill. The Motorguard bespoke solution with aftermarket alarm / immobiliser upgrade is IMHO the correct way to do it as the alarm sounding will warn thieves away during the theft attempt.

Watch this space buddy. We’ve shot a Toyota video last week and should go live very soon. 👍

@@motorguard - I keep seeing posts from people on Toyota / Lexus forums where they have had a Ghost or similar system fitted & it's then caused issues with either the hybrid system not working OR it's causing lots of warnings to flag up on the dash. Obviously they went somewhere / to someone that doesn't understand how the hybrid system works. I'm really glad I found you guys as you know how to install security systems correctly on a Toyota / Lexus hybrid 👍

Great video, perfect explanation of situation. Unfortunately, factory fitted security systems are fitted in the same place for ease and productivity. The main thing I learnt from RAF/Motorguard (don't soak the siren)😢, is thinking outside the box and understanding that the requirements for a decent security system to be fitted and work can actually be found all around the vehicle which is time consuming for any thief, Motorguard really do pay attention to the fitting and bypass trends, then make "bespoke" fitments to suit the vehicle, requirements of the customer and above all they do not BS. Let's get these vehicles on lockdown, improve the insurability and stop the worrying of the what if. 🫡
