I'm a cheap charley when I can. I did my research and still bought the Sailrite sewing machine, now I'll definitely buy the Sailrite pully. Thanks for the video
Thanks for taking the time to make this video. I purchased the Goldstar Tool monster wheel a few years ago and it is pretty much identical to the Sailrite. I believe it was seventy some dollars. Frankly, I am quite disturbed by the product Goldstar delivered to you. David at Goldstar should be ashamed. Take care
Would be more interested in seeing how each works, does one do a better job than the other or work about the same regardless of machining quality difference?
I added a SailRite Monster Wheel to my Morse walking foot machine and it fit perfectly. I think, at the time, it was cheaper than your Chinese knock off, and well worth it. I have gotten other parts for my machine from SR and they are great. One note, though, your plastic monster wheel might have come from SR because they were selling a plastic version for a while.
The black wheel comes with some versions of the sailrite. I think it even says sailrite on it. Someone else made the point that the black one is actually a good unit especially if you carry your machine onboard or need it portable. Probably saves 8 lbs ..lol. Really the upgrade you did...from the small wheel on a knock off to the monster wheel is the most effective upgrade.

The knock-off part looks like a bilge pump part from the Titanic. Great video. Thanks.
Lol..pretty much.

Good on Sailrite, that wheel looks pretty good. I got one with my LSZ Worker Bee kit, but have yet to install it. Will be doing that soon.
Thank you for this video!
Looks like you'd just as well get yourself a good file, a bucket of patience, and finish the job.
I love it.
Me too, made that silly mistake to grab that piece of shitty Chinese Knock-off monster wheel. Feel damn sad when look at that lousy workmanship.
Used , referbished ?
