Superior driving by Lucky in this one, and quick to capitalize on any opportunity they can find.
Lucky pretty much executed it's game plan perfectly here. It looked like it's design was the perfect counter for such a robot like Gigabyte.
The moment when the Lucky team knew they'd won, and Mark Demers thumped the glass in delight, just about sums it all up.

I love the look of full-body spinners, but they really aren't as effective as other designs. I hope someone finally cracks it and makes a winning FBS.
I don't. Full-body spinners are even worse than flywheel weapons - too effective without being particularly clever. "I'll just wait here for you to come and hit me and get wrecked!"
I'd rather watch some trash bots with axes, cutting wheels, grapplers, crushers, flamethrowers etc where there's actually skill involved and the fight's not over in one hit.
Typhoon was a full-body spinner that won Series 7 of Robot Wars in the UK. I think these bots are a lot heavier and heavily armoured though, and I don't think the full-body spinner model scales well

@@MathsYknowon contrary, FBS require probably the most skill of any spinner to drive without commiting suicide.
I was always wondering what was the angled rod of gigabyte was for. Turns out to be for incase he gets toppled it would flip him back up but then the very thing that can only save him on that broke as it tries to do the job.

Gigabyte Is a bad design. There are couple bad bots as duck punshingbag bots.
yes he often does damage to himself, who no matter what he touches throws himself away hard and damage becomes quickly imbalanced so the only weapon fails
