    after listening to this song for probably more than a 100 times, I still get
    goose bumps & tear up :( This man had the type of voice that could look
    into your eyes, and touch the deepest parts of your soul.......one of a kind
    singer that will be forever missed :( RIP Great One, and thanks for sharing
    your gift with us before you had to leave......

    The first time I saw this, wasn't long after Prince passed, and now with Chris gone too it's pretty hard to watch. Also, for me right now, my personal life is in a shambles, so the actual lyrics hit hard. Still, great song, great cover and I loved your reaction and analysis! Thank you Beth!

    As a singing guitarist myself I always said if God told me I had to die and come back as someone it would have been Chris. It was so unfathomable that he was fighting a demon so bad that he would take his life. Makes you wonder why we hold on when even our heroes can't. I'm sticking around though no matter what, don't worry.

    Great song written by Prince Rogers Nelson recorded by Sinead O'Conner which was performed very well and emotional in her own right but Chris Cornell adding his own flavor to this song was special , may he rest in peace.

    There is a brazillian metal singer called André Matos, who unfortunatelly passed away last saturday (06/08). I really recomend you to check his work, a wonderful singer with a very high pitch singing. I believe you will love his voice. He had a very strong classical background.

    Heavy Metal in Brazil, Latin America and the world is in mourning, we lost Andre Matos, one of the great Melodic Metal vocalists on 08/06 at age 47.
    He was the owner of a powerful, lyrical voice and was a maestro, pianist and very talented, founder of bands like Angra and Shaman, participating in Avantasia and Epica.

    Hi Beth. You should react to Andre Matos singing. Unfortunately he passed away last Saturday from heart attack. He was way too young and had a remarkable voice. He was the co-founder of the band Angra, in which Kiko Loureiro, now guitarist of Megadeth used to play. It would be nice seeing you react to his singing, whether it's his old or new material. Fairy Tale by Shaman shows a lot of his voice

    Chris's voice always brought a compendium of emotions to my ear, until his suicide. Now, It only brings sorrow. As much as I loved to hear him rip the paint off the walls over the decades, I can barely stand hearing him sing a single tune. RIP.

    when i was a teenager, he had a friend pass away. Another singer of a band called Mother Love Bone, Andrew Wood, a band that after his passing would become Pearl Jam. To memorialize him, they recorded an album called Temple of the dog, featured members of Sound Garden, and what would become Pearl Jam. that album, was one of many that saved my life. Also....yea you have an accent....an absolutely adorable one.

    When I was playing music full time in Nashville (up until a few years ago) I always kind of treated this like an untouchable cover. Once I saw Cornell did it, it was cemented for me.
