It's funny to me how Veloma went from the manufacturer with some of the roughest coasters and B&M with the smoothest to the other way around. (I'm not saying B&M's are rough I'm just saying there's a lot more rattle on them now.)

I would love to see one of these on the hill at Dollywood that the mountain slidewinder used to occupy. Imagine that traversing down the hill hanging off the edge.
One of these would fit perfect at Vallyfair since they do not have an invert 👀
Been waiting for this video to come out ever since the POV and it looks incredible! You get tons of airtime and G Force on this ride and you are so lucky you got to ride it! I live in the UK and we have a family version of this ride but this just looks completely next level! Keep up the vids and cant wait to see what Vekoma does next!

You are in Europa again!, Welcome home, guys. Fianna looks nice and smooth but with a touch of intensity. This ride and de whole area are a good step in the right direction for this park, i hope they finish the theming soon. A big hug.
Can we replace every SLC in the world with one of these please? It's honestly remarkable how Vekoma went from making some of the most hated rough coasters in the world to the smoothest and fun. Bravo.
Honestly vekoma should make a revised slc layout with the stc track and trains just like how Corvus did in one of his videos would be great replacement for those rides and would introduce more new gen vekoma even if it is a clone

Our home park is starting to make its mark.
With the themeing in Tir Na nÓg area elevating standards, and Na Fianna Force and The Quest operating alongside the already manificent Cú Chulainn wooden coaster it's a heck of a day out.
Probably needs a few more years and attractions to become a destination park, but heres hoping!
I think they are well on their way to being a destination park! My grandson and I visited the park 17/06 and we loved the park. We are from Virginia, USA and it was on our must visit while in Dublin just to ride Cú Chulainn. We just got incredibly lucky that the new additions opened just weeks before. Such a lovey park❤

This looks so awesome! I’ve never gotten to ride this or Hals Uber Kopf, but Vekoma STCs look awesome! I really hope we get some in the US soon! I think this type of coaster would be a great fit for Valleyfair rather than a B&M Invert.

Vekoma might run B&M into bankruptcy if B&M can't figure out why their rides are suddenly getting a noticeable rattle.
They might do that even IF B&M figures that out. B&M's are very expensive, and a lot of their models have already saturated their markets regionally. Although B&M is responsible for giving us the Invert, Dive, Giga, Hyper, Wing, etc. etc. etc., they are a company that likes to play things safe- but a consequence of that is causing them to fall behind other, more innovative companies like Intamin and the new gen vekoma.
B&M was my favorite manufacturer as of just a few years ago, but it's clear that they need to make some major changes both innovative (design and research) and improving ride quality in order to maintain the long term, enormous success they've enjoyed this far. It would probably take a very long time, considering they don't take the risks that a company like Arrow used to, but five years ago I'd say you were crazy to even suggest it (even now its odds of happening are remarkably low), but now there is room for that discussion.
Hopefully they realize this and look at the future like how they modified the stand-up (surf coaster and how they are building a second launched wing coaster) but only time will tell. They are still a world class manufacturer, but it does seem like we are hearing more of "I SHOULDN'T have gotten a B&M". And that doesn't bode well.
Looks amazing! Verona has come a long way since the SLC. This is making me look forward even more to the opening of Flight of the Wicked Witch at Warner Bros. Movie World.

Vekoma has risen again like a Phoenix from the ashes. My only real grief about Vekoma is their bussiness model of copy and paste layouts. I feel they should really expand out to more custom designs. I see a huge opportunity for them to expand out to put them right on par with Intamin and B&M.
Don't know about th ones they are building in China but here in europe all the new ones are pretty much "costume" build. Ok they only build 2 of the same type so far but they seem to be off the copy paste track. And this one is defently differnt then hals uber kopf.
It's up to the customer. They have a few standard layouts, but the customer can order custom ones at an additional cost.

@@Danrarbc There is no amusement regulation prohibiting more than 2 inverts at a park. It’s nothing like the other two and would be a hit with enthusiasts and the GP at KI or any other park.

Vekomas new tier stuff is super glass smooth. Only time will tell to see if it stays that way.
Their new generation is at least 10 years old now. All of it has remained smooth.

Bring one to six flags great america haha any ride type i like, i say should be brought there . The dream is: have this and a family coaster intetwining throughout the picnic grove area of the park, and renovate that area to be part of the park rather than only for special events.

So glad to have a suspended coaster with airtime. Forceful B&M inverts aren't for me because that's not a sensation I enjoy on its own unless it's being used to make airtime afterwards feel bigger in contrast
If Vekoma comes up with a 4-across sitting invert, with the track record of recent B&Ms (pun def intended), B&M should be worried.
For some reason I thought it said "Vermont's" and I was like wait.... I thought that was the old potato park in Ireland? Looks like one of the best inverts in the world.

Vekoma is slowly getting their revenge against Taylor by making better and better coasters. Their ultimate goal: make something more intense than Project 305 so he fully passes out 😂

That would be great for them they mis that major ride that is just a bit more on the trill side but still great for the family with a bit older kids. They made strange choices of new things the last decennia and need more variation I think. Would love to see a woody over there but that is going to be difficult I’m afraid, with noise and permissions, it’s not easy to get something build here in Belgium. A Mack family spinner would be also a great choice over there or a straddled coaster from intamin, both something different to add to their lineup.
Any idea on what this coaster costs to build? I wonder if the smaller parks could afford it?
They said they invested €22 million in the whole Tír na nÓg area....well spent I have to say!

Not just yet. Vekomas issue in my opinion is their whole copy and paste layouts. If they would expand out into more custom layouts, it will put them on par with B&M and Intamin

@@brybryguy6314 We have to say they do a lot more of custom layouts now a days compare to before, and the thing is, if a parc can't afford a costum layout, if they can have a cheaper alternative from a great company than a mediocre company, that's great. So yeah, it might sucks to have some copies, but if that means that I have an awesome ride at my home park, man that's still awesome.

How does it compare to a B&M Invert?
Cant speak on their behalf but from what Ive heard, less overall intensity, and much more graceful transitions and manouvres. Its overall a very different take on an invert compared to B&M.
Haven't done this one but hals uber kopf is extremly rerideable. They are incredbly smooth and more flowy than forcefull. I personaly like the good B&M's better but these are more enjoyable for a wider range of people while still fun for the more adrenaline oriented peeps (like me).
when I saw the title and saw Vekoma and Suspended right next to eachother, I prepared for the worst. The coaster actually looks really nice.
