Great video! I just need to replace the trim piece that you removed first. I assume it just pops back in?

My dashboard cluster died again, so I took it apart and blew some canned air into the connector and it works again, for now. I'm thinking there may be something wrong with the wire harness connector. Is that possible? I know nothing about cars apart from putting in fuel and driving them, but with your video, I was able to get this out and get it working again. (It's not fun when your socket extension is old and won't hold the socket in place while doing this.) Thanks again for the video. You saved me a lot of trouble and money.

Could have just been a bad connection. If it happens again you can try some dielectric grease on the cluster plug terminals

@@motorcarnut Thank you. I will get some of the dielectric grease in case it dies again. I used to help my Dad work on his car, but that was back before they started putting computers in cars. As a almost 65 year old house wife, I'm pleased that I can still fix something on my truck.

@kcpaull I think that is great! Never too old to learn! And 65 is not that old anyway! Good luck!
