@StarWarsSublight Yes. I was invited to attend the premiere Monday night at Disneyland. All the show's kids were there, plus Jude, Favreau, and Filoni.
I get it. I have largely let Star Wars go. I don't know if George Lucas was right when he said that Star Wars are movies for kids but it certainly has become a franchise for kids now, and in doing so it has abandoned its older audience. I think that's a great shame but if kids can find some happiness watching this show then I guess that's okay with me because as I've said, I've moved on by and large. Edit: And I encourage unhappy fans to also move on. If you don't like what Star Wars has become, don't give Disney any more money.
I found it as average as anything else on “TV” in the past 5-10 years, although I particularly enjoyed Andor and the Mandalorian as fsr as SW goes. My bar for Star Wars was set after TLJ, as “don’t defy the existing lore,” with a hint of “canonize cool things from the EU,” and the first episodes of Skeleton Crew check both and leave me curious for the next episode, but I was not “wow’d,” if that makes sense.
What do you make of the first two episodes of Skeleton Crew?
I enjoyed the first two episodes of the show and I'm a 49 year old man who grew up on Star Wars.
I'm so happy you're back! I can't wait to watch & talk about this show together. Loving it so far!
Cheers Scotty. It’s been a while 🥴
we say this at the start of every show, then it falls apart
Episode 3 is also really good!
You’ve managed to see it?

@jamesuhl3995 awesome. Glad to hear part three keeps the good streak going!
It's for the kids. It's for the kids. Please let them enjoy .
@@antonyperkins6705 yeah but clone wars, rebels and bad batch are good examples of “made for kids” that every fan can and does enjoy.

Hard to argue with that second part mate, well said.
Where do they show it, on Nickelodeon?
Na m8 that’s Rugrats
@@StarWarsSublight Yeah, but these are all kids shows, it's all Disney, after all, isn't it.
