I suspect Wim's missing mother is the Supervisor. A citizen is tapped to the position on the death of the preceeding supervisor.

Why couldn't it be Wym's mother as much as Neel's mother? We know she disappeared at some point, but they left us to _presume_ that she died. We don't know that, and the camera has spent too much time on Wym's father. It could be that becoming Supervisor is an undesirable position that a person is drafted into, maybe by a lottery, and requires being cut off for life from society, family, and friends. That may be the thing kids learn when they become adults. Just throwing that out there...I really think the Supervisor is a droid. But IMO, Wym's mother being the Supervisor is the only thing that they've given us narrative clues for.

How did Tek Rennard know there was an Old Republic if he died before the Empire existed?-He might actually be a made-up legend. The parents also talk about the kids aren’t supposed to know about „any of this“ until they graduate. What exactly are they talking about?

This might actually be the move the show makes, but damn would it be a disappointing one.

There is an entire batallion of SM33 droids in one of the vaults designed to protect the planet. They literally come with the Emissary ships the same way R2 droids come with starfighters.

I think the droids are the supervisor. If you go back and rewatch the MCU’s avengers age of Ultron, they use that same premise assist to where the supervisor can go into any droid’s body and become the supervisor like Ultron did with his bot’s. I think that Neil’s father is a Jedi. We don’t know how long their species live for. We will also find out that Wien’s mother was a Jedi also. She’s the one that gave him the “ Star Wars iPad” with the tales of the old republic Jedi versus the great Sith Empire. But I do believe that one of the kids at least will be Force sensitive and one of the parents will also be as well. If you think about it, the Old Republic would not leave a planet that produces their currency without leaving a team of Jedis on the planet. They’re everywhere else in the galaxy during the Old Republic and the Republic after the Ruusan Reformations.

The Super has been gone/dead for a very long time, the Droids are stuck in a loop based on their last order.

Neel's dad is watching Neel's siblings -_- There have been very little to no clues to Neel's dad being the supervisor. I think it would pull too much focus away from the main plot if the supervisor wasn't anything but a series of automations. My guess is we're going to see the New Republic come to the rescue with K'ymm in tow. My hope is that we get a Rogue Squadron Cameo with a hint that Wim is force sensitive.

If the supervisor is Neels dad, why does he live in a standard At Attin home the same as the other families this makes me think that it is not Neels father.

The supervisor is not Neel's nameless father. We actually see Neel's dad in episode 1 when Neel and Wym are walking home. Neel's dad is standing in the living room and they have a big family hug as Wym walks by, seeming jealous of Neel's loving family. Neel's dad is just a background character. The Supervisor is likely a droid. If people were in charge the planet wouldn't have been kept a secret for this long and would have been sacked like At-Akrin.

Please watch Episode 1, 25:30 to 25:50. On the garage wall, there's a picture of an Elephant. At the end of the scene, the camera focuses on the picture. It's a very interesting hint about the origin of Neel's family.

Plot twist - the small creature living in SM-33's eye socket is Tak Rennod.

I don’t think it’s Neel’s dad, there hasn’t been a single clue or nugget of info that would indicate it’s him, just we haven’t seen much of him. That’s not enough for me, as Star Wars will typically drop hints along the way that become more apparent after the fact and I don’t see any looking back at the season.

I personally think that the supervisor is Tak rennod, who is also elephant father or related to him. It sounds like a lot, but i feel like they would not have hid tak's face if he was a human. I feel like he could have just wizard of ozzed At Attin to gain full control of the mint (and automate almost every aspect of the planet). This could also explain why Tak wanted to hide the planet so bad before going, as he did not want any pirate to come after him and try to take control. His greed could also explain why the planet is so very overly inflated (being that he wanted more and more money to be printed so inflation happened). Also, in the end, this is a pirate show, and if you are going to hide a character from us untill the end, it is bound to be a pirate.

the elephant statue is most likely just a reference to the Indian god in the form of an elephant and nothing more... although yes, maybe he was somehow connected with that past captain of the ship. but it seems to me that the supervisor may even be the captain of the ship himself. I don't really understand how much time has passed since his crash. but it feels like by finding these treasures, he somehow influenced this planet to be hidden

Supervisor is Tak Rennod's concubine. She is probably of the same species as Neel and is a Neel's Grandmothers. She also killed Tak long ago and was masquerading as Tak using the same voice changer technique as KB. Or it's just AI on auto or maybe Tak is a droid.....

I think the simpler explanation is that Neel's father isn't at the big reunion scene because he's busy taking care of Neel's three younger siblings.

50% chance it's a droid, A.I., computer or autopilot. If someone said no one's seen the Supervisor in years (like the Wizard of Oz) then that would suggest it's a droid. But they didn't so there's other options. 35% chance it's just some guy, who doesn't strut, but keeps his position on the down-low, holding another job like the Wizard being the doorman in _Wizard of Oz,_ (even if that was supposed to be a different character played by the same actor). 10% chance it's Neel's dad, not telling his family, for the reasons given in this video. 5% chance it's Tak Rennod. SM-33 said he died but locked his ship's controls to crash. He'd have to survive somehow, then get the Supervisor's job (how?), and then survive the 100-200 years of forest growing over the _Onxy Cinder._ Maybe they're thawing him out of Carbon Freeze?
