I do with 3x strong or even 4x strong-VMC hooks size 4 and even size 2's. 50lb split rings too. I caught a 36" striper end of May and this is why I change them. I saw a 40" striper rip 2 stock hooks off completely and the tail treble was straightened out. Lucky the guy landed it.
@@kvn826 Asked you to explain 'wrong part of the delta' and just 'cite the reg' now that you mentioned Stockton🤣🤣...But I did look it up, of course there's great Salmon fishing in the Delta [not this year]..'except' for the southeast section--south of hwy 12 and east of hwy 160 below hwy 12 which includes the Stockton area...Reg 7.40(b)(D) in the Supplemental Sport Fishing Regs.
@@1Mannco I’m not sure why you’re telling me. I was fully aware of this already before you felt triggered enough to chime in here. Glad you can cite the regs, maybe refer to them before you give your input to random people online

I caught a salmon last year on a shallow crank bait… had to release though. I was in the wrong part of the delta to legally keep
Salmon last year were ok to keep if caught in the general delta area...explain the "wrong part of the delta". Which regulation cites that
@@1Mannco salmon caught near stockton are not legal to keep. I hope you aren’t telling me to read the regs when you’re the one that needs to 😂😂.
