I was out there on the Delta for my first time ever that weekend, Boy did it open up my eyes to just how Big that place really is! Awesome experience waking up in our camp to see the Pro's coming up into the the sloughs. Great times!
Love to see that Mr skeet especially after you guys were in my all time favore tournament, in the ca delta in 2015 with my favorite anglers like you, Arron mertens, Chris zaldain, ish Monroe, and Kevin vandam. Just great to see you paying tribute to one of the best ever in the sport.
watched the whole thing on bassmaster live it was awesome just seeing a bunch of the country's best anglers going at it on a big body of water. Keep it up guys!

They launched out of Sacramento as that's the only city that could actually afford to host the event. The city where the Delta actually resides is Stockton, and Stockton is broke. It was a good event regardless, and being a Marshall for it was a blast.
I agree, watching some guys just reel in fish nonchalantly and i get bugged on that end too. But I feel like if you panic Z does you start thinking about how things could go wrong and then that's often when I find things go wrong.

Why didn’t Justin Lucas get penalized, or something, for running out of gas? Isn’t that the risk you take traveling far in a tourney? Or is it cool because it’s an “Elite” deal? (Tournaments are lame anyways) That fish Justin caught was not camera shy. That might be the best catch video I’ve ever seen! Unreel! He might want to consider retiring after that fish cause that will be hard to top. (I think I’ll watch it again!) Aaron is missed.
Ikr if you take a female off it's bed then all the eggs get eaten, and imagine if an entire tournament sweeps all the females off the beds. I think they shouldn t do tourneys during the spawns of certain areass
To me, throwing baits at an animal that has a brain the size of a cashew for 2 hours has less to do with skill and more to do with patience. Part of the skill is locating the fish which is a no brainer here. Now youre just throwing baits hoping to get bit. I dont buy into the skill argument of bed fishing. Recreational fishing is fine, catch and releaee. No harm no foul. Tournament fishing, no way. Its all about generating excitement at the weigh in, not about the health of the fishery.
I think that show it because in tournaments you have to hook them in the mouth if you hook them in the side or something then you have like a 10 min sit out were you can't fish....so I think that is why
When these guys lose a fish, why don't they grab another rod and drop right back in on em while they are hot?! We always had a fluke or worm ready to go just for that occasion...
I love Bass fishing, but these guys that scream and holler like they just scored a touchdown crack me up. I'm waiting for one of these guys to spike a fish like a football.
Chris Zaldain's fish fighting skills has got to be the worst from a Pro i've ever seen. Slack line, lets the fish take control, and then if he gets it up to the boat he chucks his rod and goes for the line and bass.
Hook Mob it doesn’t mean bad fishing or anything negative, just that you don’t have one or two specific patterns you are using to catch fish. You’ve got a deck full of rods with different baits tied on, fishing different areas/structure, throwing everything at them

I dont know why but bed fishing feels unethical, especially for tournament fishing. Fish here in mid summer and showcase some real skill.
