Hey did you have any troubles with Aorus Engine detecting your PSU? Mine can't seem to detect it and the cable is attached correctly from the PSU to the MB.
@@giantbearjj2452 no worries, thanks for your prompt reply! Been tinkering with it for hours, no luck yet. I have a Gigabyte Waterforce X 240 as well but that works absolutely fine in RGB Fusion 2.0. I noticed that the PC does not make a sound when the USB header is plugged (usually the PC will make a sound advising something has been plugged in) in for the PSU so thinking it might have something to do with that lead perhaps.
I would choose the one with the best price/wattage. Also, I would suggest waiting a bit for the next-gen power cord with comes with pcie 16 pin connector. Seems like that is going to be the standard for the next-gen of graphics card.
Hi sorry for the late reply. As I remembered there was a cable from PSU to the motherboard USB connector. So you are looking for USB 3.2 connector on the mobo.
How is this PSU going? I'm trying to decide between it and the Thor 2. I like the screen better on this one plus I already have to have Aorus engine installed and don't want the clutter of programs to make Asus work. But the Thor is a seasonic with a skin, nicer cables and future proof cables. Price isn't an issue as they are within 5% of each other due to a sale and both are 1200w.

Fortunately, I don't have that problem. Maybe try a newer version of Aorus engine?

Between Thor 1000W and this Aorus P1200 , if at the same price what do u pick? And 3th option is Thor (1) 850w sealed for 210$ in my region of Europe.

This PSU works like a charm now. No issue, the screen is cool. No noise from fan and I am happy with it so far.
