Where you get your castnet, thanks, brilliant channel
@@markjenkins1410 Cheers mate👍 I think I got it from amazon, it was a few years ago tbf but it a 6 foot.
40 plus years trying to catch a Mullet on rod & line. I failed. Even tried snorkeling with a spear gun for them a few times; - Failed again. Looks like it's time for a cast net. Cheers.😊
@@batch6792 You go far wrong doing it this way mate!👍 If you want to see the full video of me showing how to use it and catching a lot more fish just follow the link to that video ⬇️ ruclips.net/video/8d_UyyiZNIY/видео.htmlsi=IfTi_0_pr_aji5jb
Wot size you got👍
Is 7ft net legal
@@markjenkins1410 hiya mate in the sea any size cast net is legal. In rivers you'll have to check with your local IFCA to see if they have any bylaws! In this particular river yes 7ft is fine mate 👍
Thanks just ordered one from America, can't wait till it comes and just got cheap one off Ebay until it arrives in 2 weeks, thankyou 👍
@@markjenkins1410 sounds good mate 👌 your welcome!
I don't think you explained yourself very well in your video. In harbours and estuaries the maximum sqm is 4. This equates to a diameter net of 7.4ft. Not all cast nets are within that limit. Anything larger, can be used in open sea, but not in harbours or estuaries. And minimum size for "any fish" is not 20cm. It depends on the fish. Yes, mullet are 20cm, but (for example) mackerel are 30cm and bass are 42cm (with a max catch limit of 2 in any one fishing session).
20cm minimum landing size is appalling, mature at least 40cms.
@@michaelbrazendale8368 I didn't make the rules! Your complaining in wrong place matey!😁
I totally agree you didn't make the rules, just suggesting you highlight the topic, you did ask for feedback.
@@michaelbrazendale8368 Yes fair enough mate I can't change the size restrictions in river there are no restrictions. Personally I don't like to keep them under 30cm as their not worth eating. 👍
Thanks👍
To many do gooders flipping arse wipes bro😊
@@stephenboreham9056 Yeah I could understand if I didn't say anything about it also I showed letting some go 🤨
Same old same old. Someone who knows nothing about what they're talking about dobbing you in & trying to cause trouble when you've done nothing wrong. 'king Karen's !.
They wont stop me mate!😂👍@@paulrollings1274
@@batch6792Yeah the World full of them mate😂
@@paulrollings1274 I don't know what you mean, your comments don't make sense mate! There is no landing size on mullet in the river they can be any size but I haven't kept any under 20cm!
