@BURNT GRILLZ It's one of the biggest boat rent companies on the market and they don't give a fuck about those boats! The customers who wanted to rent one of these boats are the poor because they have to fight for their money!

I would say unless you know the river for sure, and could guarantee that the boat you're on is lower than EVRY bridge you're going to encounter, It would be suicide to chance it. Look how fast they sink when the bridge flips the boat. And that isn't even accounting for things like the engine not starting, no keys, steering broken/disabled, deadheads/debris in the water to poke a hole in the boat. All to save something that legally isn't yours, and likely won't be when it's all over. It's not the same as raising an abandoned sunken boat. Just cause you save the boat doesn't mean you get anything for your troubles.

Only four were "captured" for possible salvage. The river was wild on that day; and no one was hurt thankfully. There are weirs and bridges every couple of kilometres and that was what did the damage.
The incident happened here in the southwest corner of France following weeks of exceptional rainfall. The 21 pleasure craft broke away with their pontoon/dock from the village of Douelle (near Cahors in the Lot department) and slowly self destructed on their way downstream. Just 4 wrecks have been salvaged. Thanks for watching Mr D.
