Dude I was at this very show 10 from the front. Nobody had a clue that spitfire was coming, it was flying so low we just couldn’t see it. The noise from the engines blew the crowds head off, the flight and cheering didn’t stop for like 10 minutes before they opened the show with Moonchild, holy fucking shit. Literally one of the best live shows I’ve ever been to no doubt. So nice to see you react so fondly to it, you should have been there man.

I've seen them live 8 times and they are the best live band i have ever seen. I haven't seen Nightwish yet, though...I have a feeling they are even better. But Maiden live is an experience, audience from 12-70 years old and everybody sings along in every song. Amazing feeling of belonging, the metal family is huge, diverse and welcoming!

The Phantom of the Opera muscal, which Nightwish does the famous song, came out in 1986.
Iron Maiden's Phantom of the Opera is based directly from the 1910 book and was released in 1980. Thus obviously, they invented their own song for the book.

Find me a song that Iron Maiden doesn't triolify. Because they do it better than anyone. But I wait to see which one of the songs in the immortal Phantom Of The Opera this is.
(Speaking of opera, the performing of Phantom I saw at Helsinki Opera House is second to only one. The Hunchback of the Notre Dame at Tampereen Teatteri, a re-gorification of the Disney nice clean version back to the original Hugo story, is just immortal. I hope they publish the recording of it. People from 9 to 90+ were crying there.)

They are different bands, different songs but still masters at what they do.
One other difference, Nightwish are all in their 40s (except Floor she's a baby ;) )
Iron Maiden are now all around 60 and they've been doing this almost before anyone in Nightwish was born!
I still love both bands and I love Bruce and Floor, they are both absolute professionals than excel at their craft.

This is an original song by IM, not a cover of the Andrew Lloyd Webber song. If you want to compare the Nighwish cover with something, check out the Impellitteri cover. It's pretty awesome. Still Metal, so it's a valid comparison.

Dude, if you have the opportunity to see Maiden on this tour do it. Its worth every penny. If you want to do another set of videos like these check out Maiden's The evil that men do. Floor was in a band called After Forever and they did a cover of the same song.

You're doing good dude, very good react channel you have going, actually look like you're surprised when most have a monotone face while freaking out over music. Cheers! \m/
