That drummer is wickedly awesome! Nice tight chops and excellent sounding kit. I am a guitar player, but a skilled drummer gets my attention every time and this guy is a pleasure to listen to.
Of all the country guitar players from lower Broadway in Nashville, I think Guthrie is the most musically mature and the best composer. Not to mention he plays with outstanding taste, tone and precision. I would never pass up the opportunity see him him live, especially with this bassist and drummer! What a power trio! These guys can hold your attention.

Everything as you said
Guthrie is more amazing than ever. Folks should come out to the underdog here in Nashville, most every Monday to see and support his trio! 💪🎸
RIP, Mr. Rhodes, you will be missed!
That bassist is Michael Rhodes. Being himself. You get on stage with the guy, you want to be on your toes, because he's paying attention to YOU.
😎 why would anyone give this a 👎 ? you got anything better?

Musicianship -- TEN! All for one and one for all -- the music as the important messenger! Great vid!
A great example of when you have a talented, tight trio...less is more. Super impressed with all three of them.
Wow, this guy is quickly becoming one of my favorite players.
The interplay here is beyond stellar!
Such a wonderful trio, they just tear down the Music City Roots stage !

Beautiful use of a Telecaster! He was just in the 4/13 issue of Guitar Player. A "real" guy.

Cool tune :)
WOW!!
Another poster got the drummer's name right. It's Pete Abbott! And he is fantastic.
This is one of the best bass tones I've heard out of Ashdown. (if that's what he's playing through). Just wow.
Cross between Robin Ford & Larry Carlton. Great sound from Gulf Coast Brother, saw him last night on Leno Playing with Ashley Monroe.
No fussing around, the Guthrie man !
owned. THAT'S what's up.
So some of this sounds like five four-time three four-time back-and-forth. But the ending minute and a half I can’t figure it out. Any ideas?
Killer!
Sublime ! Guitarists can you help me - what does he kick on at 1:15 ? Trem and chorus? Univibe? 10 points to he who can tell me ! Cheers
That bassist is great and ALL about the eye contact, lol.
From 2:18 and after...OMG!!!
guthrie trapp overdrive + tube screamer
.. love Michael Rhodes on bass .. but he'd have to give me some space .. .
that main riff sounds like john abercrombie. wonder if he influenced it. cool stuff
It's like if John Scofield played in a country band....and I like it.
Sounds like a country Johnny Marr tune. Cocl
The bass player rules! Who is he?
The bass player crosses the line of personal space. Lol
Now that was sharp! Not a lot a good ol' Tele won't do....
Also seen with Joe Bonamassa.
This bassist gives me the creeps. He is darn good though!
Same. I knew someone else in the comment section would feel the same. Lol
King crimson Druti column.
Who is this bass player??
Jeffrey Lebowski on drums!
I see that Heisenberg found himself a new job
Pete Abbott!!
That's Pete Abbott on drums
Just discovering, he could've done this set at the baked potato.
el pelado re flashero!
F in Insane. His 2 instrumental albums are as good as Blow by Blow and Wired. The songs are that good.
