One of the features I’d like to see better is the aliens. What made them terrifying wasn’t simply their speed and power but, how they could come from anywhere. Such a cool game. Yeah, it’s a little rough around the edges but solid at its core. Stays tense about 90% of the time. Just completed a run on Nightmare after finishing on Medium. Once you learn the mechanics, it’s not so hard. I was still learning stuff all the way up to the end of my 2nd run. Mainly, becoming efficient at utilizing the sniper. Another thing that dawned on me was how to make the infrared goggles work in your favor. On that mission when the power goes out and your motion-trackers don’t work, keep the flashlight on and just walk around. Much, much easier to detect and avoid confrontations. Even works behind closed doors/walls.

Thanks for the walk through! I played it on hard and game glitched right at the last mission with the killing of the Guardians, and I couldn't proceed. I was soooo upset.
If youre frustrated with the difficulty 😂...they tend to make you go from your own 10-yard line to the 3 in the red zone...THEN move the end-zone back 70 yards 😂. They'll do this to you multiple times in a level. Here's a spoiler-tip. Pulling up your action menu puts the game in SLOW MOTION. You're not only gonna use that slow motion effect to choose a weapon and attack, but also MOVE and RUN away from danger, buying yourself time to set up sentry guns. The AI is A LOT more forgiving when you're moving in slow motion. For instance, I was supposed to clear a room of 30 armed cultists. You won't believe this, but I was able to run by all of them in SLOW MOTION, get to the BACK of the room, and set up 4 sentry guns, go back to normal speed and blast away 😂! The cultist stood there frozen. Try it, it's a kinda "Quicksilver" effect? Where you're running in slow motion, and the AI is standing still like a statue! I was able to get by corridors with a lot of alerted sleeping Xenos, NOT by sneaking past them...but by slow-mo running by them, while killing a couple with shot gun blasts and grenades. Then setting up the 4-5 sentry guns (all in slow motion) and then turn the slow mo off 😂 No creeping around impossible patrol routes, just hit the slow mo, run by 'em to the right spot, unpack your multiple sentry guns and MOW them down, until the "hunt" ends.
Appreciate the full game done so quickly but dam you made this harder on yourself than necessary. No use of the rest mechanic and trying to clear zones in one go?
One of the many questions left hanging in Cameron's "Aliens" was how would the viewer approach the situation in Lt. Gorman's shoes, and what would be the outcome of the marines' mission if a competent officer was in command instead? This game is legit the first elaborate, engaging and extremally immersive attempt at answering that question, even giving the player an APC (*ARC), to actively monitor the stress levels, and vitals of the marines under your command , just like they did in "Aliens", and even deploy, move around, or provide a limited firing support for them in a pinch. The parallels with "Darkest Dungeon" should be obvious, but "A:DD" takes it into the next level by being unevenly split between a real time game most of the time, full of suspense and nail-biting moments, and the more RPG-like intermissions between deployments, where you can manage your resources and allocate gathered XP points, etc. There's much, much more to unpack from this game even still, but nuff said -- it's an absolute banger that really hit the head on the nail with the idea of how to bring the squad-based, (Aliens) Colonial Marine into a live-action game.
i'll admit i was annoyed throughout the play that you never let the marines de-stress which led to obvious problems when you could have done so and just made cuts for those bits plus a few decisions were a tad poor. overall looks like a great game however with a nice story

The "C'mon team!" and "Hurry up squad!" needs to be toned down. That shit is driving me bonkers and I don't even own the game.
Anybody else glitched at dead hills and the elevator doesn't let them descend into the mineshaft, just straight up elevator cannot be interact with at all
Never resting his marines really gets me every time.
I half expect his Marines to become suicidal...lol
Thanks.. good game play
Damn this game is more stressful than I thought it would be, given it's a squad tactics top-down game instead of a creepy fps. The tension has me checking corners and my brain just sits there screaming "WHERE ARE THEY I KNOW THEY ARE HERE"
It’s annoying when you clearly needed to rest your squad but don’t.
Feels like playing it ! Thanks to your videos I know what I might like to play. Got my copy today ^_^ fun fun fun
Really cool game, I couldn`t believe an strategy game could give you some scares.
in the end, being hunted by an giant alien torso remembered me of the first tomb raider of 1996!
10 minutes in and I can already tell the main character has the IQ of a handful of dried butterflies.
Let the guy have his fun. If he's enjoying himself that's all that matters. You can always make your own perfect run video
Tell me about it, all game he ignores objectives, stress never resting, in game items, doesnt care about things that will help him complete missions, poor placement, no use of welder. Rts’s are not made for him.
@@aramisvaldes1711 I was talking about the female administrative not the player. The hell is wrong with people here...
thank you!
Then setting up the 4-5 sentry guns (all in slow motion) and then turn the slow mo off 😂
No creeping around impossible patrol routes, just hit the slow mo, run by 'em to the right spot, unpack your multiple sentry guns and MOW them down, until the "hunt" ends.
Now we have Alien Cultists and that giant new Alien. I wonder what maybe next for Alien series for adding on to their antagonist list.
Not sure why you are not collecting samples
I am playing this game on max settings. The xenomorphs look sublime. Rest In Power H.R. Geiger.
8:13 someone looked at shy guy
You are legend!🙏🙏
Appreciate the full game done so quickly but dam you made this harder on yourself than necessary. No use of the rest mechanic and trying to clear zones in one go?
Is this on easy? why didn't the queen at 3:33:00 react to your movement like it did mine?
XCOM meets aliens holy moly I never favorited a game so fast
Well you just gained a new subscriber in a funny way. I thought I was watching another non commentary RUclipsr I watch and just realized as I’m finishing up the video that it wasn’t him 😂 so hello there! I now have a 2nd non commentary channel to follow now.
Even though I have seen every alien movie, it still excites me to see the first reaction to the xenomorph coming out of someone’s stomach. lol.
It's about 14 hours! What a hard work Bro :)
40:00 Medbay has a KITTEH! 😸
