Cynthia's encounter music is intimidating and terrifying while her battle music is energetic and makes you grin despite how difficult she is, Meanwhile Volo's encounter music makes you feel nice when seeing a friend while his battle music is the very definition of threatening. But I will say I had a more difficult time beating Volo than I did with Cynthia 😅 and also the feeling of ultimate betrayal from Volo was a huge shock factor so I'll just use that as an excuse for why it took me so many tries to beat him. One thing I noticed; 1:05 is kinda similar to the Alarms in a lot of other champion themes, most notably Kanto rivals, which makes sense because this is, in a way, the common ancestor of all the Rival battles.

I just love that it's a mixture between the approach theme and the main theme, it blends so very well together. The people who wrote the original composition for the game did it in such a wonderful fashion, and hearing someone transcribe it completely into a piano arrangement truly helps bring attention to all parts of the song. Wonderfully done.
Man, I just keep coming back to this. It's so good! When I first heard it in-game right after release, I actually teared up from it, and I still do when listening to your cover. Even though legends Arceus is very rough around the edges, it's my favorite Pokémon game I've played. The characters, lore, unique gameplay, and the amazing music made it an experience I won't forget!

While Ive liked some of the other piano-only versions of this, this is the only one I've seen where it actually seems physically possible for a single person to play. Because the others try to include all the other instruments, I feel like theyd have to be a "piano duet". Idk why, I am such a beginner, but knowing even a single person could play this makes me want to play again...

Ok. Was I the only blind player who knew this guy was the Villian the moment I saw him. It was pretty reassured the moment he said "I need to keep an eye on my investment" I know he's a business man but that's pretty convincing that he still thinks of you as an object to his bigger plan.
