Great video! I would encourage the interviewee to inquire about the companies’ expectation as far as the number of reviews to complete during the shift. How long is orientation. Don’t be intimidated if you have never done UR. Let your employer know you are eager to learn

Am currently doing my masters in health care administration. I am interested in applying for utilization review. Will I qualify even as am not a nurse?
I'm surprised that you didn't go over questions specific to the role as a utilization review nurse such as your experience with different guidelines or criteria, how you reached out if you needed more info for a case, how to handle ambiguous cases, etc.

Normally about 6 months, but if you have at least 3 years of Acute care experience you can apply to a position
