f1 caster: THEY ARE GOING WHEEL TO WHEEL OH MY GOD AND THEY TOUCH - IS THIS GOING TO RACE CONTROLL?!!!!
NTT caster: slight contact...
Riften Guard this should be the quote of 2019 perfect so perfect
5 sec penalty for dangerous driving
Indycar ??cars?? Look more sturdy and can survive bigger contacts without falling apart so there's no need to investigate every single thing IMO.
Im a big f1 fan and france gp was so bad but omg rossi huge nuts on start wow and close racing and overtakes, makes me sad this is what f1 should be like
This is what F1 is. They just misplaced the label. The content is here.
Totally agree. F1 managers should look at indy races and take notice. Great stuff.
@@DoomRoomRecords well the current owners of the license, "liberty media" is only interested in money
ceeam Nah, Indy don’t have the best technology and fastest paced cars. In terms of action, it’s better than F1 in recent years.
Why is everyone moaning about the French gp? I've just been watching the highlights, seemed fine, some good action, I enjoyed what I saw.
This is better than the boring French Grand Prix.
Atleast people actually went to the French GP
@@BoleDaPole And they got bored to death to see another Mercedes 1-2 and the first four drivers finishing as they started. Really entertaining.
Came here just for this comment lol
@@BoleDaPole Didn't you see the huge empty spaces in the stands? Not to mention that Elkhart Lake is a circuit with few grandstands where it is more for the people who go on their camping trailers
Only because of the track. Road America is loved by all racers. Oval tracks however....
I’ve been watching IndyCar racing since the ‘60s and I’ve got to say that the action on track this year is as good as it has ever been! Bravo!
The 2019 NTT Indycar Season = brilliant and always full of top notch racing ❤️🏁❤️
2019 FIA F1 Season = watching invisible paint drying is more exciting.
Politics was the end of f1
This race was live on sky sports. I might watch this for now on instead of F1 tbh
maFIA
When you don’t have 5 secs penalty to worry about, this is the result. Look how entertaining this is.
There was no reason for 5 sec penalty and this is the result.
Roman Galda
well, next time tell Vet to don’t block opponents, who was too late on brakes? Who went to the grass? Who made the mistake? Cant even handle Max in a Honda......but its ok if you want a win for compassion, Vet looks like a nice guy.
@@MrElpajita It was reaction to Hanif post and you didnt get it did you ?
20 seconds into the video and it's been better than the whole french GP 🤔
Than the whole years.
It would be better if Indy had 20-22 seats. They have to many seats.
@@SimplyKnownAsTron No, it shouldn't. 33 is the magic number at Indy.
I think 25-26 on other Indycar races, would be great.
idk why, but I think that'll be my new F1 :D
Makes a mockery of f1. The car design is perfect for racing. Great driving also.
You realise that the car design is compromised.
They definitely don't have the crappy Pirelli tyres which FIA forces Pirelli to make for "good racing"
@@CL-fg5ne we need tyre war
IndyCar should expand to outside the US. Go back to the good coast, drive around Sepang, maybe a British Track like Donington, Fuji track in Japan. These road courses are producing good races.
The problem is that this might be too exensive for the IndyCar as it is growing and recovering but still is a small series.
"Green green green". I never get tired of that. So much better than "and away we go".
Even Nascar's "Boogity Boogity Boogity" is better.
FloosWorld I find Boogity Boogity Boogity hilarious but it’s better than Crofty’s “Lights out and away we go.”
@@CoSmicGoesRacing Here in Germany we don't have a specific race starting phrase. The commenters usually shout at the beginning of each F1 race and try to comment any overtakes that happen there
Rossi was on some jet boosters today
i found ya
Although Rossi dominated, I'd still say this was a great race! Its so hard for me to pick a favorite driver in Indycar, they're all so likeable!
I have really grown to LOVE IndyCar!!! Every race is action packed and there is always a different winner! Gotta love it
The difference between Indy and F1 is that at least in Indy if you have a dominant driver in a race, the rest of the field puts on a show instead
I watched and followed F1 since the 1990's and also IndyCar, the people that come up with the technical and sporting regs for F1 need to have a rethink as IndyCar is showing them how it should be like.
Indycar Highlights: 7 min full of action
F1 Highlights: extending barely to 6min by showing cars boxing where nothing happens....
This highlights is more entertaining than the full F1 race
If this were F1, 2:34 would've ended up in a 5-second penalty.
Only if Hamilton was behind lol
This is what makes Indycar perfect. F1 is sanitised rubbish. Let the drivers use all the track.
If it was Riccardo... 10s
No he wouldnt of you dumbass.
You go back and look at videos and highlights this channel made in 2010 and 2011 there's bunches of people complaining about how far poor the quality of the field and cars were in Indycar and talking about how great Formula 1 was. It's been about a decade now and the perception has throughly turned around. Congratulations Indycar. The money and eyeballs might not be there yet, but the on-track product is back to the height it deserves to be at.
Wow congrats to NTT indyCar, with this kind of racing fan numbers are going to be growing, compared to boring F1 is matter of time
Colton Herta is the Max Verstappen of IndyCar, super talented, a little bit crazy and very entertaining.
Ake Hilding it’s his rookie and only age 19, so he will improve and mature. Bright future for Herta Jr!
Max Crashstoppen is a menace forthe sport. I hope not.
Both Formula E and Indy are much better than boring F1 at the moment.
The last F-E race in Bern was a total disgrace. Their first seasons were okay for the concept, but they are going downhill.
ceeam another one of the FE haters I’m guessing who can’t realise the fact that the sport is doing well and more interesting than F1 at the moment
Especially the battle for lead
And are also much slower.
@@ceeam True about the 4 seasons being bad & going downhill, but this fifth one is amazing to watch, Bern was the only boring race of this year afterall
Absolutely killer race for Rossi! Herta has some guts. Such an entertaining race!
IndyCar is great. Good racing, talented drivers. I would like to thank Fernando Alonso for bringing the IndyCar to us. It's a shame he can't get a full season here.
It's not that he can't. He won't come. He's not interested in take the paycut to run a North-American only series when all he cares about is the fame behind the Indy 500. Shame too, because it's unlikely he'll ever win the Indy 500 without a full-time ride.
@@FallingPicturesProductions I agree, he can't win the Indy 500 without a full season, or maybe a few full seasons. If you ask me the pay cut is worth it and it'll pay off in the long run, but the man doesn't understand. May good sense prevail.
Scott Dixon 💪💪👏
F1 = Cars parede!
Indy = Cars racing!
Way better racing than in formula 1.

Sports pleasure for viewers in this race. Glad for Alex. Wisconsin food makes me hungry.
Better than F1
Great and close racing. Better than the BORING French Grand Prix.
Ιάσων Σιάκκας And it’s lights out! To sleep we go!
@@asurarara Looool 😂😂😂😂
Ιάσων Σιάκκας I just wish indycar was more popular than F1
@@asurarara Me too it's much better racing ☹️
@@user-kh2nt9vo2r Indycar would probably be more popular if Tony George didn't do what he did in 1996.
Geez, not a fan of the ovals, but on racetracks F1 has nothing on Indy. Just incredible competition in IndyCar racing.
good thing the indy season is mostly road courses
I still think Indycar looks better because they don't have a flip-flop on top of the cockpit. Nice highlights btw. I love how close the racing was, unlike the French GP.
I got used to the guard now, its for drivers' safety so I am ok with it
They are planning to ruin the cars with the full-blown cabins/canopies next year.
@@ceeam no they aren't. They will have an extended windscreen, covering the drivers head in front and at the sides but the top will still be open. By no means is it a canopy.
@@ceeam ABSOLUTELY nothing wrong with that. Driver safety has priority over cosmetics. Besides it really doesn't look bad at all.
Love that you guys put a 30 min highlight version for free. This is the 4-wheel racing I’ve been missing!
2 good recovery drives from Ericsson...
Facts, soon those recovery drives will turn into just great drives and he'll be fighting with the top dogs
@F1: 😴😴😴😴😴 @Indycar: 😦😦😦😦😦😦😱😱😱😱 The winner a former F1 driver.
Mate, he tested in f1 twice. Wouldn`t call him an f1 driver.
@@callejarvholm Na he race for Marussia for like 5 races, the team sucks and he don't have big sponsors so he can't get a drive in F1. He is pretty good as you can see, he beat his teammate in Marussia

Thank you NBC-TV for broadcasting live on regular TV. We racing fans who have "cut the cable chord" appreciate it!🏁🏁

im an f1 fan and when i saw them go wheel to wheel on the left turn and they touched i though it was going to be a penalty lmao but nope they kept racing.
Gingers do have souls
J.G. Wentworth we steal them
F1 should be like this ...
Watch F2, it'll give you what you're looking for
Pure racing. Pure driving. Great show! I ❤ IndyCar!
I love all forms of motorsport, I really do. But having watched both, how on earth can you compare the great racing in Indycar right now to Formula 1? I'd have to say Long Beach was probably the worst race of the Indycar season so far and even it was INFINITELY more entertaining than the best F1 race this year. Please F1 management, look at whats happening across the pond, good racing is not that hard to produce.
It's very simple, just put all drivers in the same baseline car. Then it's up to the engineers, mechanics and drivers to figure out the best setup and strategy and execute it properly. Instead of Hamilton always winning because his car is 10 mph faster in both corners and straights because Mercedes happens to have more $$$ than anyone else bar Ferrari
It’s not F1’s fault Mercedes are so developmentally superior.
The tracks are to blame.Put them on tracks with grass instead of hundreds feet of asphalt runoff and you will see better racing.
It's a spec series. No major advantage for a team's car and their bank account. The drivers compete on a level playing field. It's a concept F1 should try.
IndyCar has been reducing downforce, which puts car control in the hands of the drivers & the setup on an given day/track.
In the early 90s I raced on a team with Rick Mears son; spent a lot of time with Rick. Even back then he was advocating for lots of HP and reduce the downforce, because that places so much more in the drivers hands. So here we are today and he was absolutely correct.
che bello vedere già nell'immagine di preview il vincitore della gara...complimenti...non c'è gusto così
Rossi is the fastest driver when he gets to the front of the field, and is great at passing. Winning combination?!?!?! Ya
Seems like too fast for Indycar, should be in F1 for RBR or Haas.
He's very ANGRY this season 😆. I respect that.
@@thevinceberry Rossi already had tried F1 and was nowhere near as successful as he's been in Indycar.
Edward Peraza he was driving one of the worst cars in the modern era in the Manor Marussia which was a car that was using a chassis design that hadn’t been updated since the previous year. It was around 1-3 seconds slower than the next closest teams cars. The only comparison you can make is against his teammate, who he consistently beat despite having WAY less time in the car.
@@smurfpapa31 so are you saying he should go back to F1? Still though, he wasn't as successful as he's been in Indycar.
IndyCar - Cool race, very competitive. "Rossi has big guts, big race! Herta is great too. That kid has a bright future. When is the next race?"
F1 - Cool memes, very laughable.
"Hello, Tom. I'm D A R R E N."
3:21 SLIDE JOB SLIDE JOB... it was awesome to see Colton drifting into Turn 1.
Herta almost became the first person to test the new SAFER barrier in The Kink on that last lap!
Also, this should be a lesson for for F1. 1 car dominates - leads 54 of 55 laps - and yet the race was FAR from boring! Watching Dixon claw his way back through the field was a masterclass.
Herta and Rahal mixing it up for laps reminded me of their father's racing days!
Great race boy!
After the abysmal French GP, Indycar is a breath of fresh air.
Great drive from Dixon.
Bad luck in the qualies, tagged and turned round in the race finishes in the top 5.
Great racing. No penalties.
ROSSI!!!!!!!!!!!!
wearing my shirt tomorrow!
Drive of day:Scot last to 5th
Yes, he recovered well. What is slightly worrying is that he made two unforced mistakes in the last 4 races. He might really not be a robot we all thought he is after all! 🤨
Without a Caution... What A Drive
Take note, F1
F1 is dead. Mercedes won't allow FIA & F1 to make any changes that will affect their dominance. They pour up to half a billion dollars into the sport. More than any other team. That comes with a lot of "influence". 2021 regulations will be a joke. They've effectively killed the sport. On the bright side, if F1 wasn't doing so poorly, then I would have never gotten into IndyCar.
@@DaveWBK Agreed. Inconsistent penalties given out and a completely obvious bias toward one team are killing what little bit is left of F1.
ruclips.net/video/Q3L7WzpAsjY/видео.html
The mix of road courses and ovals makes for great racing
I tried to watch this live on sky and my god, how do you Americans deal with so many ads, literally every 5 minutes
Yeah that's NBC for you. Nothing But Commercials. I'm glad British tv networks don't have commercials breaks like that.
When you're raised with it, you kinda get used to it. I recall watching races back around 2004-2006 before Side-by-Side coverage came about and you'd miss alot of important parts. Now that most of the broadcasters for motorsports in the states have implemented side-by-side coverage it's helped to alleviate the pain of incessant commercial breaks alot.
Great racing.
Nice entertainment racing.
I wish F1 was like this. F1 is insanely boring. Hamilton is talented but most of what we're seeing is the most dominant car in history driven by a talented driver. 80% of the other guys would be just as dominant in that Merc. Indy is very entertaining
ruclips.net/video/Q3L7WzpAsjY/видео.html
Corrida fantastica.
This was way better than F1 🤣🤣🤣
great race, no dirty feelings or bad tactics, just real racing. The old American race slogan is "If you ain't rubbin, you ain't racin'"
220 miles in under 2 hours with no yellows. Are you watching NASCAR? :D
Awesome drive by Dixon. That's how you win five championships.
very strange to set up the car and tyres in road america
nice track thou!
would like to see a new car! its about time guys!
Muito emocionante . Uma prova disputada até a última volta. Muito melhor de se assistir , do que a tão badalada f1.
Best race of the season.
Hello from Canada Corner!
Once again, F1 gets humiliated by Indycar
Sergio And it’s lights out! To sleep we go!
The bad part: I don't has watched the race once again. We needs Indycar on cable in Latin America again!!!
IndyCar needs to be RACING south of border. Hopefully the series keeps gaining popularity and will return to at least Brazil...
That was a race fella's!
Are you guys going to publish the full race to RUclips like you did last year?
They usually make a longer, 30-minute highlights video
Nope. Their new deal with NBC this year doesn't allow it.
So much more interesting than the french grand prix
Feel Invincible From Indycar Series
Well, I'm a huge McLaren fan, so I watch F1 instead of IndyCar, but I admit it is so boring that I almost need pills to stay awake.
While IndyCar is fun to watch, oldschool racing at its best, really great track, great technical and racing rules, similar cars in performance...Many things FIA should bring to F1 to prevent it from being unwatchable.
F1 has to go through huge changes
Even the drivers hate it
Penalties if you change your engine.
In the old days they had a spare car to jump into.
F1 has dug its own grave as every race is so boring and predictable
Kenneth Killeen Those changes were so that the small teams can compete being on an even playing field engine wise especially with the bigger teams like Mclaren and Ferrari using different engines for qualifying alone and the race while smaller teams had to count their pennies. Not that those changes mattered too much since the big three still run away from everyone else and Merc just in a complete league of their own.
No drs zones... Still the cars overtake... This is what f1 policy makers must take note. This is just pure racing and v f1 fans r liking it
I understand that these cars are a lot slower and simpler than F1 cars, but oh my God, this racing IS FUN TO WATCH! None of this turning up to a circuit and knowing the podium from Friday practice. I wish indycar organisers were talking to liberty media about how to stop the rot that is F1 racing.
WhAt a race! What French GP?...F1 take notes! Hurta, tire conservation lesson learned I hope. Fantastic!
Fórmula Indy é infinitamente superior que F1 atualmente, não perco uma corrida
Indycar keep doin what youre doin! Way better than F1!!
F1 who?
Dixon was a beast by the way...
This is what racing is all about!!!!! Once again Indycar was way better than F1. Kudos to Rossi....amazing drive...
Joder, parece mucho más divertido que la F1
I didnt watch this race so can someone explain how Rossi was 30 seconds ahead? Did he fuel save again and skip a pit stop? Or did he just have quick race pace
He passed Herta in turn 1 and didn't look back. He had the fastest car today plain and simple.
Rossi and Herta had the fastest cars of the day, but Herta's tire strategy was borked so Rossi just dominated the field.
Rossi pulled a move I first saw Montoya put on Michael about 20 years ago. Getting into the slip stream at the start, the popping out to make the pass.
Watching the worst IndyCar race>>watching most other motorsports>>watching paint dry>>watching F1
Wait what!?!? I am a big F1,NHRA and a nascar fan. Have never liked indy car! But damm that is a nice race! No penaltys and wheel to wheel racing! Much better than France gp :)
I'll guess you never liked it because you thought that the Indy 500 is the only race the IndyCar series does?
Wow, pure domination by Rossi.
Question how many people commenting on here are from Europe and have became Indycar fans in the last few years since they are upset with the current F1. The F1 cars are much faster on road courses but there is little action even though Rossi won by a huge margin at least there was constant action throughout the rest of the field in the Indycar race. Rossi drove flawless and was just better then everyone today.
Oh no 5s penalties. ...😈
First half of the race was really good. 139 on-track passes in the first 17 laps! Pity that the 2nd half was pretty meh.7/10 + 3/10 = 5/10 overall rating from me.
Hello NTT IndyCar, why do you have this huge issue with the live timing? In Texas, there was the constructor instead of the gaps on the display for at least 30% of the race. This race there was the qualifying result for a couple of laps. Please fix this issue!
Are you watching Liberty Media?
Theres no much they can do since LM owns the FOM wich is in charge of the comercial rights of F1. The sportive part is on FIA, and FIA is crawling with old, square, "dont touch me", close minded people...
Been a race fan my whole life ...nascar..indy....F1....
Indy is by far the most exciting atm. What a race today.Rossi had a huge lead..but the race was exciting and full of action.
I watched the France GP as well...boring as usual...F1 has been lost for many years. Stale is a term that comes to mind.
Anyone plz tell me what is the difference between indycar race and formula race ?
IndyCar:
- 3 tyre compounds (Soft/Hard/Wet)
- refueling
- Push-to-Pass (similar to KERS, doesn't recharge, limited to 200 seconds per race, only used on road courses)
- different aerokits depending on track (road course, short oval, long oval)
- double points at Indy 500 and season finale
- different pointssystem than F1
F1:
- 5 tyre compounds (Soft/Medium/Hard/Inter/Wet)
- no refueling
- DRS (used within the one second gap)
- only one kind of circuit
- no double points (except one time in 2014)
seabss speed hasnt been the same since the broken bones and hip he suffered from Indianapolis 500
Anybody here thinking that F1 is dead
This is more exciting than f1
Hi, can we comment about Indycar instead of F1, thank you. :)
Yo
I love all you guys
