What a joke, these Indy V6s are all too similar, no distinguishing difference. Meanwhile compare the beautiful deep sound of the Honda V6T at low revs to the whizz of the Mercedes Powertrain at high speeds. I can literally tell what manufacture a car is by its sound alone! I thought it was a very good race, but was very disappointed when the telecast suddenly went out at what sounded like an exciting moment involving Sato, yet there was absolutely no replay of what happened. I don't think there was even an apology to the viewers about what had happened. But overall, I enjoyed the race.
Great race! Congrats to Ericsson for 2nd! Overall, really happy with the podium, never rule Dixon out! Hope Power wins the next race. About Newgarden... he screwed up really bad yesterday! Bad decisions like that separate men from boys in racing. Hope he learns from that mistake and becomes less overconfident in situations like those.
Wow that was a great race also...I really like this track and street circuit are true racing,and the track looked very green no rubber must a had rain every body sliding around and the bumps a challenge,good deal.

@@danielo7985 The difference is that Indycar dare to put strict rules to all teams include Penske and Andretti while F1 seems afraid to loses mercedes or ferrari if they put strict rules. Remember back when CART/IRL split, Indy500 loses Penske, Ganassi, and Andretti. But they still runs it. Infact those 3 are the one who'd return to Indy
Good job on not redoing what you did at the Indy 500 and burning up five laps for no reason after that red flag. One lap only... that's how it's done! Props to the drivers for the racing... it's not easy to deliver at that track.

Nine I’ve been a motorsports fan for 30 years now, started with F1 and indycar, lost interest in indycar late 90s, now though I’m watching all of it and totally loosing interest in F1, indycar is heading in the right direction

He is overrated but not as desperate as people like you think. That being said, I actually prefer Ericsson over Hinch. The fact Ericsson and even Harvey got a podium each and Hinch not having any speaks a lot about Hinchcliffe.

I always enjoy the Dual at Detroit. Saturday's race was not the best, but today's race made up for it.
