You’re a very good hoi4 player to watch, your strategies and advice is the only reason I have almost 500 hours in hoi4, which made me realize you’re basically the sensei to our grasshopper brains 😂

Oh my god i've just resently played Carlists and I cant even describe how poorly this was executed. How did this guy pick like the worst provinces to core, mess up the original rush i mean the Spanish have like 0 divisions on your border when you break free, plus the Spanish civil war debuffs. Plus how the actual fuck did you not kill Bilbao.
I can tell you from experience that the game is hard if you're not a huge hoi4 sweaty.
Well anyways I'm now and snaking up on the 1000 hours

@@madde9456 nahhh man dont worry, im just kinda taking the piss. Idk if your a new player but hoi4 is always tough when your doing a new country and learning new systems. Some off my first plathroughs are horrendous, like my micro was just right clicking a city and praying to god that it worked lmao.

Combined with 92% CAPITULATION, I honestly wasn't sure if you were gonna pull it off.
Then I saw there was still almost 30 minutes left and was like "Okay, hes got this."
I'm pretty sure if the VPs didn't recalculate when the Nationalists died, i would have lost tbh

As someone who just did a Carlist run a few days ago, I can relate to this title on a spiritual level. I felt physical pain trying to get this show on the road but was eventually able to save the axis and win the game in the end.
22:20 steals all the guns in the first half of the game and then say the axis feels so weak

Idk why but I keep coming back to the Spanish civil war, I genuinely love the micro and the playing field is relatively fair without having to do anything cheesy. Amazing recovery though!

You can actually press shift while deleting a production line to delete all production lines. This is especially useful when setting up.
Speaking of setting up, as long as the game is in the first hour of Jan. 1936 when you create a new production line it starts with significantly more efficiency.

I remember my first Spain run. It was a Carlist run.
Didn't core anything except Burgos, Bilbao and Western Aragon.
I was relentlessly charging the lines as the Republicans so I lost all my equipment before I broke off and I lost almost instantly.

Spain was literally where I started my HoI4 career, but as the Republicans instead. I can confirm that if the SCW goes wrong, it tends to do so "gradually, then all at once". Eventually, it gets to a point where you can't regain control and will just lose.
I recently managed to survive as Anarchist Spain, took till 1942 at the cost of about 2mil total casualties but I still managed it lol

Looks like someone new to the game wanted to try one of the harder route
@10:26 you got warned when your country detected the invasion/incoming troops. To get more warning you need to have greater intel on your enemies (or have intercepted or somehow interacted with the invasion). I noticed the mechanic between NSB and BBA. No longer do you have omnipotent knowledge about your enemies naval invasion plans without effort.
I an game where the other four factions just spawned and i was nacionalist spais retreating to Galicia saved me
