    Ronnie hated the "rationalisation of the greed". That sums it up brilliantly. A great man. RIP Ronnie. You were a grand feller, and it was an honour to have once met you.

    Great interview great to see ronnie shame rte won't release Dubliners concerts from the 60s and 70s they had there 9wn show on rte one time crazy more material isn't released thanks for this

    He and Luke were the most endearing Irish singers to me. Mick Maloney was my first, but Ronnie and Luke will be the ones I want played at my funeral. All because of an american: Bryan Kelso Crowe. Rest in peace my dear friend. Same to ronnie and Luke. Luke's politics were shit. But his voice will always lift me up.

    That's humility that one great unique Irish voice thinks that another is greater. In my opinion Ronnie voich was unique and Lukes also in a completely different way. ❤️😊

    I met Ronnie drew,up in Grey stones,back in 1978,intertuce to by Steven 🤴king,,it was a wonderful night's crack i will never forget, ,once in a life time, I was 16 at the time,co tyrone, ✋

    His comment at the end is brilliant, about the two different types of poor people who get rich: "and the other guy, when he gets something, he says, "better get rid of it quick before I get poor again!"
