  • In this video I test and review Bars Leaks Block Seal Permanent Head Gasket Fix. Our car was diagnosed with a blown head gasket and the repair estimate was around $2000 to get started with the potential for it even to cost more due to a cracked head or block. Our car was overheating and leaking antifreeze. I wanted to find an alternative solution to keep our old car running without spending a lot of money. Does Bars Leaks Head Gasket Fix work? Watch this video to find out! Always make sure when you are working with vehicles to wear the proper safety equipment and take all safety precautions. Thanks for watching!

This stuff absolutely works …I had a blown head gasket on a Mitsubishi and pour this stuff in only once…..I kept driving this car for over a year but it was 13 years old I had already purchased a new car so I just sold it but it was rolling and no running hot issue’s so. It’s definitely worth it if you need to buy yourself some time

@@paul_ezmamaa it depends on the brand. Some brands like blue devil requires you to bleed out your coolant and fill your radiator with water to add it in. Other brands requires you use antifreeze with their product and some say either water or coolant is fine. Just gotta read the instructions.

@Jav M I used the product(with coolant and thermostat installed) but it didn't work for me, The coolant expansion tank keeps overfilled after a short drive.
I ended up replacing the head gasket but after 5 months started to overheat again...
After that, I decided to use BlueDevil Pour-N-Go Head Gasket Sealer the right way
As a last try before replacing the engine.
I drained the coolant, removed the thermostat, and flushed it with water.
After that filled with distilled water and BlueDevil and keeps it idle for 1 hour...
I used the car for two weeks without a thermostat and had no issues...
Then I replaced the thermostat with a cooler one at 80° c (the original is 100° c)
So far 6 weeks of this work and there is no overheating or expansion tank overfill.

I’ve spent Hundreds to fix my 4cyl Toyota with bubbling out of the radiator filler hole at top of radiator from gases coming from a defective head gasket. OK so everybody that has commented, that it worked for them …
nobody actually follow directions and it still worked there are directions 3:36 with steps that are supposed to be done in a specific order. Draining flushing, adding it to warm water, then pouring it in topping it off with the water running it for 20 minutes setting it off let it go running again for 45 minutes then turning it off let it get cool and draining all the stuff out and then putting fresh coolant in it I’m just going by memory on this instruction just definitely a lot more to it according to their instructions and just pouring it in the radiator I’m just going by memory on this directions

That's where you're suppose to pour it. In the resevoir.
