"Killed more vines than Twitter in 2016". Freaking genius.
I AM SCREAMING AND SHAKING.
I didnt get the twitter joke though. Guess im sill living under the rock 😭
well, Twitter owned then-popular Vine and after a couple of years had passed, they finally shut it down in 2016.
ProfesyonelCaylak it is coming back though. I don't know when but they said it's coming back.
That’s vine
the sims really needs to get a competitor. a life simulation game that doesn't constantly over charge you. I can see it doing really well
Bitlife?
KristenAnnStuhr There’s A New Simulation Game Coming Out Soon Called Paralive
Kerena Mcknight I can’t wait for paralive
Paralive is going to smack the sims 4
Paralive: Allow is to introduce ourselves
I wish they'd included an archaeology career track. That would have made it completely worth it.
there's a mod for that..
I can relate that :)
Really?? careers are super boring you just disappear into a rapid hole and pretend you doing something... any modder can mod a career
Well in Jungle Adventures you can just go to the actual jungle and explore, dig up stuff and be an archaeologist and in Cats and Dogs You can own a vet clinic, treat animals and be an actual vet.... that's bbasicly the same thing you just don't those stupid repetative daily tasks...
Tasks just give you an illusion of progress at the end of the day your doing the same thing over and over again which just clicking on objects and watching different animations play out without any cause and effect. That's pretty much Sims 4 in a nutshell
LGR just wants seasons so give it to him before he runs out of steam
He is not the only one. A few years ago, it took Seasons to bring me back to Sims 3. Still waiting on Seasons for Sims 4. But in true Sims 4 fashion, it will likely be a watered down version when (IF) they finally release it.
Have they even released actual expansion packs for TS4??
William Holmes not yet sigh they really suck
William, yes there is 4 expansion packs. Get to work, get together, city living, and cats and dogs.
It's most likely gonna be piecemeal. Prob some shit like rain or snow - not the seasons in its entirety.
Anyone else noticing that EA is constantly having 50% off sales for EP and Stuff packs? I guess they realize that a good chunk of their fans won't stand to pay full price for medicore packs.
Eddie W. EPs yes, Stuff Packs no. I have never seen a stuff pack on sale, there is a 50% off sale right now but that doesn’t extend to game or stuff packs, which is really a shame as I only have one stuff pack and I am sure many would like to pick up a few they are missing. But EA probably think they are cheap enough -_-
They just had a sale for stuff packs, game packs, and of course ep's at the end of January. Game packs and stuff packs half off. For stuff pack it may have been 25% off non the less they WERE on sale this year. Outside of that i don't remember seeing them go on sale. And the beginning of Feb. they had romantic garden stuff for 50% off too for their 17 years or whatever.
I don't think the sims team that usually has control over that kind of stuff. Maybe sometimes they do. But as of late its definitely through EA seeing how EA is the publisher they are they ones who calls the shots on those things.
50% off is the only time I purchase packs. They're incredibly overpriced with the amount of content you get in them. The only ones that I MIGHT pay full price for would be Seasons and University - IF they ever come out that is.
Eddie W. yea i noticed get to work is half off, it looks like a bad pack anyway and even having it half off wouldn’t buy it anyway
"There is something enjoyable about cleaning old items and putting them on display" isn't this what most of the channel is based on.
Precisely.
Laron Dormeuse ooooof
THE ONLY GOOD PART ABOUT NEW SIMS DLC ARE YOUR ACADEMY AWARD WINNING REVIEWS. I find this pack to be just something you do once and thats it. Its not like dine out you wont get back to it. Once you complete the temples and collect everything you wont do it again even with a different household. It looks nice but they need to step it up.
I haven't played the Sims since the first one. But, I've watched all his reviews of everything Sim related. Cause his reviews are always great! :)
I agree xD
I've watched LGR review chairs, so I can't complain.
For what I've seen it's pretty annoying that when you come back not only it resets the temple and such but also the "portals" so you have to cut the vines all over again and repeat the same paths just to get a different layout of the same temple. It's like World Adventures if ONE pyramid with different layouts were the only place to explore. It will feel stale in no time, believe me.
I theoretically like Dine Out, but it always seems to glitch out for me, so I've never really had much out of it :(
In before they sell you one season at a time.
"Summer Game Pack."
"Winter Game Pack."
"Fall Game Pack."
"Spring Game Pack."
Edit: Yes, I'm aware this did not age well.
given that this was roughly 1/3 of WA, it'll probably be Spring/Fall and Summer/Winter packs.
Yeah, just like when they sold us toddlers and pools like everybody said they would.
Wait.
Besides, seasons is one of those things that will be an expansion. Period. If you think anything else, you're just really fucking dumb, to be quite honest. My guess is that Seasons will be the next expansion pack, coming next year. EA's greedy, but they're also not stupid enough to rock the boat any more with The Sims than they already have. They know they fucked up, and they're trying to unfuck themselves from the position they put themselves in with this franchise. I'm astonished you haven't managed to pick up on that yet, somehow, despite having years now to see it.
You're the dumb one *yawns*
Well, Maxis can't help it if "it doesn't feel as big." If there's anything The SIms 4's direction has demonstrated, it's having a concept, cutting out the unimportant things, and adding in something very specific so that it can be done well.
For instance, people often play doctors, scientists, or police officers. So those three were focused on in the Get to Work expansion, as well as allowing for retail businesses, which were, I *highly* suspect, the most common type of business in The Sims 2. (And, for all the praise TS3 still seems to get, let us not forget that they never implemented anything even remotely close to Open for Business. Anything that might've made you think of OfB in that game was half-arsed, to put it lightly.) Players wanted more ways for their sims to get together. Bam. Get Together expansion pack. People wanted apartments back and a sort of city atmosphere. Bam, City Living, with a better system for apartments than TS3 had. People wanted pets. Well, much as some people probably liked horses, I *guarantee* that statistics showed that most players didn't play with them. So instead of spending resources on an animal most players weren't interested in, they fleshed out the dogs and cats more. As for the decision to not make them selectable, well, that's one some people like, some people don't. There was no way they could make everybody happy with that one.
Back to fleshing out my point... people wanted places to dine. So they made Dine Out. People wanted vampires back. So they made Vampires. People wanted more fleshed-out parenting mechanics. So they made Parenthood (a pack that I'm particularly fond of, and I think it's one of the best additions to The Sims the series has ever made). You see? Get a simple concept, focus in on it, make it worthwhile. If they didn't do that, then they'd just as easily get bitched out for having packs like Showtime that didn't add anything or, worse, a pack like Isla Paradiso, which was just outright broken because they tried to make something too large for the limitations EA put on them, then had to ship out an expansion where most of the features to relegated to the town they'd made for it, but the town was also busted to hell and back and become corrupted quite quickly, oftentimes hanging the game for a while, sometimes crashing it.
Now, I get some of the complaints of The Sims 4. Lord knows when it came out, I was... unimpressed, shall we say. I came back to it a month or two ago, though, and was very surprised at how far it'd come, and how good the expansions were. The game packs aren't all my thing, but that's always been the case, same with stuff packs. But I've not been disappointed by any of the expansions yet. They aren't "missing" anything that I ever thought was important.
Now, we can hope The Sims 5 ends up being what The Sims 4 should've been to begin with: the amalgamation of all of the improvements the series has made up to this point. But for now, The Sims 4 is just another case of what The Sims 3 was. A step forward in some areas, a step back in others. There's a reason The Sims 2 is still the favourite Sims game of so many people, and that's because The Sims 3 wasn't the grand improvement people like to pretend it was. I remember at launch, how many people were quite disappointed with how limited it was. They had an open world, but so much of the town was made up of rabbit holes. There weren't many good clothing options. A bunch of animations from The Sims 2 were outright reused. Some branches of the social tree had fewer options available than TS2 did. The list goes on and on. My point in saying all of this is that The Sims 3 didn't satisfy everyone, neither did The Sims 4. The only game that seemingly did is The Sims 2. However, The Sims 2 was a sequel to a VERY limited game, so just fleshing it out a bit more made it easy to satisfy most people to begin with... not to mention that Will Wright's direction was over it, which is a tremendous benefit that neither TS3 nor TS4 had.
Also, consider the developers. For one, this isn't a series they came out with. It's Will Wright's baby, and they've been handed the baby to take care of permanently. Two, they're under Electronic Arts, which is just a shite position to be in for any developer. And three, The Sims has a fanbase that is so large and so utterly varied that it's hard to have any idea as to how to lead the series, a fact not helped by EA's suggestions that TS4 focus on casual players, because EA didn't seem to quite understand that simmers call themselves 'simmers' for a reason: they're fucking obsessive and put hundreds, if not thousands of hours of their lives into this franchise.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying TS4 is somehow a masterpiece. It isn't. But it is, like The Sims 3 before it, an improvement in some ways that people appreciate, and a step back in some ways that others don't appreciate. No amount of fussing that simmers do about it, four years on, especially in regards to dumb ideas people have gotten into their heads despite all evidence to the contrary (seriously, look up the amount of stuff they've added to the base game in just free patches. It's impressive, and a lot of it is stuff people insisted EA was going to try to sell to them piecemeal), is going to change that now. EA got the message years ago, as did Maxis, and I highly suspect this is not a situation that's going to be repeated with The Sims 5, because a fuckup like TS4's launch happening a second time is likely to kill the franchise, which is something EA's shareholders are absolutely not going to abide by without some high-up executives losing their jobs. So for now, why be continuously cynical? Is everything else that the devs do with TS4 going to satisfy everyone? No, but that's just forever going to be the case with a fanbase as utterly varied as The Sims. But you say you think Seasons for TS4 will come out and "something will be missing," with no evidence to really support this. It isn't Maxis's fault for people looking at a pack entitled "Cats & Dogs" and going, "Well, shit, why aren't there horses in this like in Pets?" because the answer is in the title: It isn't Pets. Get to Work isn't Open for Business. Dine Out isn't some form of Nightlife or Late Night. Whatever is focused on gets the attention. With the inevitable Seasons pack, it's going to be the focus. It'll get the attention Seasons did in TS2 and TS3, if not more so. So why must people sit around, looking for reasons to be disappointed with things that aren't even out yet? I don't get it. Seems like the sort of behaviour that'd make somebody miserable eventually.
(Sorry for the wall of text. I've never been the most concise at giving my thoughts, but then I also just have a lot of thoughts on the topic, so...)
+Frills and Fluff
Yeah, you sure showed me, lass. Literally just going, "You're dumb," with no further substance to it. I get the sneaking suspicion you didn't do so well in school.
+BlueMysteryWolf
Wait what, they _can't_ include horses. Don't forget that they downgraded by taking out the ability to freely explore the world. Since horses were technically a mode of transportation, there's no reason to keep them in the game anymore.
at this point the only connection I have to the sims is watching LGR talk about the shallow cash grabs the sims 4 is calling expansions these days.
I half agree with you? Especially early on, gating off series staples like the doctor career and hot tubs behind DLC was super skeezy. But I actually feel like the the last few packs (City, Parenthood, Cats and Dogs, etc.) have been pretty good, actually! The game packs especially are half the price of an expansion, and I feel like they're a pretty good value if you like the theme of it.
+Smldesmond 45
Doesn't excuse the shitty practice. When there's a argument to be made FOR expansions to exist you know shits fucked up.
that's not really the point I'm making, everything they are putting out expansion or not is too much money for what you get. that's subjective of course, but in the sims 3 what you got for one expansion is now spread over an expansion, 2 stuff packs, and a game pack. the expansions may be good content but in the end, if they are priced as high as they are then the good content still isn't worth it. you could get city living, vampires, and get together for 40$ in the Sims 3, its called late night, and now all of those features are spread across 100$ spanning 2 40$ expansions and a 20$ game pack, what you get seems shallow, and i had problem with the sims 3 haveing shallow content for the money. now its just stupid.
Smldesmond 45
They said expansion. Not expansion PACK. It expands the game. Ergo, it's an expansion.
I feel like the way people are excusing this now... In a few more years the next sims game will be "I know you could get the same content in the sims 4jungle adventures as these 20 micro DLC packs for $10 each, but its the same thing!"
so u take a trip to a foreing country, drink a lot, ignore safety intructions and steal their priceless culture artifects? EA should change the name of this dlc to The sims 4 American tourist...
Terec the tec 😂😂😂😂
Sims 4 Logan Paul edition with monsterhats and suicide forests. (I'm sorry, I couldn't resist)
Amen.

I tried to say this out loud but my voice is nowhere near deep enough and i wound up just straining my throat. Curse my lack of testicles when I want them.
I'm laughing at the fact that if food goes missing it's in the display case.
If stink lines are coming off your display case, it's not a curse; just food gone bad lol.
Reminds me of Arthur
one of the (many) things i dont like about ts4 is this whole "temp state" stuff, why not just let people be plant sims or skeletons? why's it got to be for a few days only, seriously taking away more variety from a game that really needs a better structure to their packs
but there's a cheat for that hm .
I would hate it if it was permanent
Permanent, but cure-able and having an anticode. That's how most lifestates were act, so nobody will be losing anything.
There's a cheat to permanently be one

That vine comment was savage
I highly agree with the "puzzles" part. I remembered when I was really struggling to complete the tombs in world adventure because of those goddamn complicated puzzles (I'm looking at you, French tombs) and felt really good after I figured it out for hours, while this one is just, examine the trap, try out the good outcome, and then you'll unlock the next place. I love the magical relics though.
Anyway, marvellous review coming out of you as always!
not to mention some tombs could only be explored by finding the right adventure and getting pangu's axe to cut down boulders
I look forward to new vids from you too!
Only adi only
onlyabidoang I
Whoa you watch LGR too? I've seen a bunch of your videos.
What I gathered from this review: it should be $10, not $20.
the sims 3 world adventures is better
Don't worry they'll get there. They're gonna milk it. Instead of getting one expansion with all the places, they're going to sell you one place at the time to make more $$.
And of course since they're doing that, nothing will fit together as well as it did (no items that you need from one area that are in another). I have very fond memories of my sim riding through the desert on his motorcycle passing pyramids. So pretty. I would have loved more of that, plus some more tourist activities for non-explorer family members (maybe some museums, spots for water activities) and to make it a little easier to interact regularly with foreign Sims (I loved how they actually had families, but it would be great if they had some basic job options so they didn't come up as 'unemployed' whenever you asked and no job history if you married them).
Bad Karma everything in the sims 3 is better 🤣😂
merchantfan Yes agreed. I was hoping more of a vacation/tourist (relaxing on the beach type activity), tropical island-ish vacation pack. Well, the world is pretty.
I would just love something (or two joined expansions) that made it easy to combine the two. Go explore a pyramid or wander around in a tour group. Go digging for artifacts or go hang-gliding.
I have a friend who's daughter and all their young friends are addicted to Sims 4 and gets every expansion and game pack. If there's any indication of why they keep pumping out these packs without proper critique, well there's one answer.
Yeah I don't play too much anymore but my 11yo does.
Vulcan Joe Seriously? I'm more concerned about how much money these kids Got. As a kid I would get a pack for Christmas and birthday. Sometimes I'd be able to save up to get one of the cheaper packs (there was also a Way to share a pack with a friend, so Sometimes we'd do that) I was the one in my friend group with the most packs.
Vulcan Joe Another answer is that Sims 4 is a niche genre, they have no competition to challenge them so can afford to do this crap, imean hey, cant spell steal without ea
To be fair the Sims franchise has always attracted children who really want every content pack available regardless of quality. Because for kids more Sims... is more Sims so who cares!
I know a lot of us including LGR were probably around 11 years old when Sims 1 came out.
Vulcan Joe Sims 3 I asked for all eos for my birthday or Christmas never a stuff pack tho that’s t
Can they stop adding more fucking collectibles and fruit as part of core gameplay please. We need new mechanics not more mood changing berries or skills
Collectibles have been part of the game since Sims 3.
But yeah, mood changing items just feel like cheat codes to skirt around Sims 4's most annoying mechanic.
But but, emotions! You know, the big thing they marketed the game after. EMOTIONS!! Don't you want these pointless EMOTIONS!!112111!!!?? /s
They should have maid a Bonehilda relic to find and create.
I wouldn't fit. Maybe her sister Huesilda would, though.
I see what you did there with the word "maid".
😂
Funnily enough, exploring that jungle reminded me of Sims 2: Castaway. A game that I weirdly enjoyed.
Heck, if they slapped that game in the current engine and called it an expansion, I'd probably actually buy Sims 4.
I feel like "weirdly enjoyed" also perfectly sums up my experience with The Sims Castaway. Buggy and laggy and ugly as shit, but something just kept me playing.
Stunfisk The whole "island survival" theme was rather attractive. Then again, I like those more different Sims games. From "The Urbz: Sims in the City" to Sims Medieval.
The Maxxx Oh man, direct control made console Sims all the better. Made it quite a different experience from the PC version, especially when the big open world of 3 came out.
StormShaun I might have to get that again and replay it xD they actually still sell it online, at least in places like the Mac App Store
I literally installed and played it again this week! Lol I weirdly enjoy it too but I wish it was like the ps2 version when it comes to gathering resources.
The only reason I get excited for new Sims expansion packs anymore is cause I know you’ll make a review! 😃
Would be a great time for a Sims competitor. I would enjoy a game like Sims, but maybe with slightly more challenge.
kinda like cities skylines did to simcity
Someone needs to make The Verts from Malcom In The Middle a thing (I feel old just remembering that lol)
I'm quite the dreamer, but imagine this: A game like _The Sims_ where you get immense customization and can have families, with an open world and the crime motifs of _Grand Theft Auto_ where you control a crime family.
Imagine paradox studios doing sims. I'd support even the kickstart
Yea Simcity 2013 is a joke compared to skylines
A competitor in the sims genre would be neat as it could be interesting to see how another studio would do it
Personally I wouldn't base it off humans since the sims 3, 2 and 1 had the slight annoyance that you where stuck basically doing nothing when your sim was at work or sleeping.
The main flaw the sims genre has is that its just like living a second live...a boring second live at times. I find that my sims itch is much better scratched with some colony survival simulators such as Rimworld, Oxygen Not Included or prison architect(to a degree) since you're still managing colonist, duplicates or prisoners/staff in much the same why as you would manage sims.
You have to insure they're needs such as food, sleep, stress and environment is up to snuff. You also play a much more active role in insuring your minions survive and saying that you can still be as evil as you want to be and in much more creative ways then just simply removing the pool ladder
Only 4 new chairs?! I'm outraged.
And a stool.
These reviews are like the final seal of approval before I buy any game/stuff/ expansion pack. Keep it up! And congrats on 800K!!!
Thank you!
Someone's going to mod this so you'll be able to hack Sims with the machete.
You can already kill Sims with a chainsaw and/or cut them up to eat them(i.e. cannibalism)
Damn. I need a mod like that. Where do I find it?
geekymelanin WCIF?
Heck, there's also a mod where you can grill your sim baby and then eat it...
I'm usually extremely immune to stuff like that in general (thanks internet! lol) but that still kinda creeped me out when I first saw it...
Lol, Sacrificial has a whole host of violent and etc mods, like a serial killer toddler mod: sims4studio.com/thread/7833/studio-drama
And Necrodog has the cannibalism mod: necrodogmtsands4s.tumblr.com/post/164385100495/cannibal-mod-update-23-09-2017-update-23-09-2017-i
Been waiting for this! LGR’s 1 of 2 Sims reviewers I actually trust.
Keep up the honesty, dude. I appreciate it! 👍🏿
Who's the other? LGR was the only Sims reviewer I could find.
Who's the other one?
Maybe Deligracy ruclips.net/user/deligracyvideos
Deligracy loves EVERYTHING. 💰💰💰
Deligracy gushes over anything. Her reviews lack critical value. She pretty much likes content and doesn't value it in relation to its asking price (seems as a succesful RUclipsr money isn't a concern for her). That makes her reviews pretty pointless if you're wondering whether to buy a pack.
Once again, the LGR Review is better than the actual expansion pack c':
Goat Bloke it's a game pack
Can't wait for EA to mess up Sims 4 seasons and university life.
Wonderland they’re going to completely butcher two of the best expansions from previous games :(
they separate each season into its own pack
FinnSword Definitely give me cancer if they really did that.. well might be, I see no hopes.. (._.)
FinnSword I don't think they'll do that.
Instead they'll just give us all four seasons and make a stuff pack for all the additional items that would usually come with the EP.
Sims 4 University Life but it costs real life tuition
Pov: your looking at this pack because of the free bundle coming out in 2 days [may 11th - 18th 2023]
I'm sad that you don't get to choose whats in the bundle [it seems to only be jungle adventure. Luxury party stuff. And fashion street kit]
However after watching this I can say I'm kind of excited for this. Especially for the build mode items!!
how could you be sad after getting free packs? + the point of the free packs are to get people playing these old packs again
@@frentelli I meant I was kind of sad we didn't get to choose. But after looking at reviews of each pack then I was excited for it. And right now after I got the bundle and currently looking though all of the new items and swatches. I can definitely say I like it. A lot of this stuff actually fits in with my currently legacy family
Sims 1: Visit the arctic, forest, and beach.
Sims 2: Visit Polynesia, Appalachia, and Japan.
Sims 3: Visit Egypt, France, and China. And the Caribbean if you count Island Paradise.
Sims 4: Visit... South America.
If that doesn't warrant a sarcastic party-blower noise, I don't know what does.
EA, if you want to downsize your game, that'd be fine. BUT STOP CHARGING MORE MONEY FOR LESS CONTENT THAN SIMS 3!
2021 : Japan, Carribean Island, Switzerland, South America, Nordic Countries (Get Together Map).
@@gardayustisia4528 You can't really do much in the map.
Yes, the sims 3 was perfect and timeless we just wanted it to not be so glitchy. More care for new worlds and be able to play without frying the computer. You think the sims 4 expansions are expensive in usa? Try add more taxes and convert to other countries.
This pack hurts me on an emotional level.
World Adventures was my favourite expansion for TS3, and I have played all the tombs enough times to have pretty much memorised them.
But this is just... Why? Why, EA? Why do you do these things?
Difference is that in this one the temple slightly changes every time
+Jessica Franklin
Well, as if often the case with S4 packs, it’s not enough.
I'm from El Salvador and the name of this fucking town is tripping me up.
livardo When I heard the name, I just...Wow. It's about as creative a name as Pokémon naming the Hawaii region Alola instead of Aloha. 😒
Me too! The fact they literally called it "Golden Jungle" ( _Selva Dorada_ ) just messed me up since I had seen the trailer.
I knew I couldn't be the only one!
Well give them credit for spending 30 seconds on Google Translate to come up with a name using two Spanish words.
Doesn't it annoy you that 'gringos' think they can be El Salvadoran or whatever by just visiting for a few days and drinking themselves off the table?
I can’t believe I haven’t even played this game yet but... I just really don’t want to
Well I agree, 3 is superior in nearly every way
I have better ways to burn my money EA...like starting fires
Don't. It's terrible.
Love 1/2/3 btw just never cared to pick this up! Especially with the emotions... was nearly tempted to play after LGR made that swimming pool house 😂
Huge waste of money. Although, since it's so lacking, I still find myself buying some of the DLC to make it less shitty. It's not working. The only reason I still play TS4 is because it takes forever for TS3 to initially load the world.
Sims games will have a life span around six years of expansion before a sequel. I'm not holding out for some 5 if it even happens considering the design choice and priority they put into 4 with the current team, but since we are more than half way there might as Well good out.
I clicked this notification faster than my fingers allow me to.
They’re crippled.
Thank you so much for this review. I seriously had no idea what to think of this pack. Simmers are so over the moon about this Pack on Twitter and RUclips with all the beautiful scenery and shiny stuff and I don't know what to believe. You just bring in some genuine opinions that really help me decide if I'm going to purchase this. So thank you for that!
Did you end up buying this? If so, how do you like it?
8:27 - you know the reason deep-down Clint. We're all still waiting on that Hungry Homeless Hobo stuff pack.
It's true.
Who is like me and still playing the Sim 3 instead?
Antony D'Andrea I am
Antony D'Andrea sims 2! And I found sims 1 in an op shop today 😄
I play sims 3 but it's annoyingly buggy when you have all expansion installed so I gotta use a few at a time.
I would love to keep playing it, but my save takes ten minutes to load, and five minutes to save.
DanVzare is it 10mins without the interactive loading screen?
I think the most rational action that a gamer can take is to boycott all EA games and wait for EA to burp out all the great title rights to other companies....
That way we just might see another decent simcity in 10 years.
You say that, but people are not rational, and will buy this regardless.
that wouldnt happen there so rich they can afford to make this, but then again i doo like the sims 4 (with dlc)
Jimmy De'Souza I didn't really had much experience on indie games, althought the experience were all good ones.
However the things that makes me dislike EA is the fact that they gobbled up fantastic franchises/studios, tryed EA style, failed, and never trying to cover up with sequels. Numerous titles are just laying idle in ignorance, delopment teams being shuffled around for new, seemingly lucrative titles. As a corporate view, EA's actions might look alright, but as a gamer myself, I cant help but hate them.
RIP Origin, Bullfrog, Westwood, Simcity....
Why blame EA for exploiting the stupidity of player who "have" to have everything sim related? They know that even with minimal work, there are people who will buy whatever "sims" they release. It's easy money and I can't blame them for milking it for all its worth.
EA and the Sims team blatantly came out and said if Sims 4 does poorly they will not make any more Sims games. Then again EA has a history of shuttering any company and IP of doing what they consider poorly.
I'll do what I do always, wait until it goes on sale. :D
8:00 that should have been the thumbnail
Agreed
EA ruined Maxis
Dhavid Setiawan KilluaDhavid EA is Maxis. Actually, EA is the whole reason the Sims series even exists.
EA has ruined so many good developers over the years. Maxis, PopCap, Bullfrog...
Dhavid Setiawan KilluaDhavid they killed bioware too esspecialy Mass Effect, hope Dragon Age survives. Thats why I stopped purchasing their games. They are not loyal to their fans.
EA is to Maxis what Activision currently is to Bungie
like, you know who the real people to blame are (EA & Activision) but you also kind of know that the other side needs to learn how to stand up for their franchise (Maxis & Bungie)
EA, Activison, Ubisoft, Konami
after few year's i hate this publisher
Yeah!
The only thing they could improve is by adding more chairs. I feel like we are running short in the sims 4
I've completely skipped Sims 4 because of the limitations and shoddy business practices. I really hope Sims 5 makes up for it. I'm someone who prefers to play the "latest thing," but I still play Sims 3. I really hate to hear that Dogs and Cats expansion made money.
Sad to say, EA have said themselves that if Sims 4 is unsuccessful, they likely won't be making a Sims 5. So if Sims 5 is what you're counting on, it might be in your best interests to support Sims 4 financially.
I think it only sold like that bc it was 50% off on release day and so many simmers got it on sale lol
The Sims 5 is not going to be better. EA will not fix their bad business practices.
I agree and its kind of baffling when you think about it because basically all the Sims 4 content is what we've seen in previous games but cut down in a lot of ways. Should of been the other way around
Yeah the only reason i got the cats and dogs ep was because i could get it for $20 which isn't bad consider what you get in it. That and i got a mod to see my pets needs. so all and all meh.
Wow I thought the Sims 3 could be a rip off at times but Sims 4 has really taken the cake, the plate and the bakery!!!
Your reviews are amazing, thank you.
So it’s a British museum pack
Was eagerly waiting for your review. It didn't disappoint. :)
Ugh I’m actually disappointed that the DLC is doing well because that means EA is going to continue this bullshit
Does anybody remember Sims 2? You know when The Sims was good?
I think for all its lagginess and washed-out color palette, Sims 3 was still the best. At least that had an open world and good balance of structured and unstructured gameplay.
I love your Sims reviews so much and I have no clue why because I rarely ever play Sims. I'm glad I finally caught one of these videos minutes after you putting it out to lol.
LGR - Playing Sims so we don't have to
Monica Smalley I want that on a trip shirt lol
LGR keeps me sober.
And shad keeps you drinking?
Simona Vincent profile pic source pls ❤️
I think world adventures was so good because of the open world map
The sims 4 but we run out of ideas
ClutteredPictures The Sims 4 but we want more money for less work
are they ever gonna make a seasons pack lmao? not that it matters because I went back to sims 3 because I was sick of the shallow gameplay
chloe nickel probably this year and it will be an expansion and not a game pack, but they only do expansions once a year now, hence the wait
You mean the four expansions, one for each season?
It’s predicted to be this year, but I feel strategically speaking, they’ll leave it for later to continue hype. I feel like they might try something else since they just released Pets.
chloe nickel They’ll probably make a ‘Winter Stuff Pack,’ or ‘Summer Stuff Pack,’
chloe nickel June 22!
I just love your captions! Well, I love your channel altogether!
Indiana Jones 5 is lookin' good!
Don't forget to review the "hamster pack." Apparently due to technical limitations, they could not have added a hamster or pet clothes to Cats & Dogs Expansion that they charged £35 for. They had to make a pack for it.
Yeah but the only way to buy it is them together for the price of any other expansion so it's not unfair
Your reviews are always extremely witty, informative, and humorous 😂💗
It was nice that you actually had more to talk about. Im enjoying the pack so far. Thank lgr for a great review.
I honestly thought I would hate this pack, I was just buying it for the items, but the more I played the more I enjoyed it. I never thought I would like it, but so far it's really been the thing that have brought me back to playing the sims 4 (even cats and dogs couldn't do that). (lmao i also made a comment on 'aren't you just stealing from this culture?' yes). I also enjoyed that each temples and whatnot were different each time.
Who's eagerly looking forward to LGR just ripping apart the My First Pet DLC?
Annie Gong omg me! Do you know when it comes out?
Shannon March 13.
I have been waiting for this review😊 an was so excited when I got the notification. These reviews are favorite thing about new Sims expansion.
Your voice makes me happy as does your intelligence that comes with a heavy side of humour and a refreshing sprinkle of honesty. It all just brings me joy. So thanks LGR man.
I only wish you were available to review my every decision in life, well maybe just the bigger ones, in a gloriously entertaining and hilarious ten minute youtube video.
I fear this is probably an unattainable request so for now i’ll settle with clicking on ur videos before i shelve out my precious pennies on impulse sims purchases that i’m far too old for anyway.
Only sims 4 review I trust.
I'm looking forward to your review of My First Pet Stuff. There's not gonna be much to review, but a rant is also fine with me! : )
Can't wait for you to review the new stuff pack coming out on the 13th. I always love it when you deliver truthful reviews!
Thank you so much for your reviews. Every time you post a new one, it makes my day.
WHO KEEPS BUYING THOSE?
AND WHY?
Hayekian me because they're awesome
People whose standards are quite low.
Sheesh... I quite like this pack and I've been playing Sims since Sims 1.
People who don't complain about every single pack that comes out .
Normies
This makes me want to play The Sims 2 Castaway again. That was a pretty fun game, and actually had, like... content.
It's been forever since I played that game. I remember settling on a volcano and and falling in love with a sand buddy while surf rock blasted in the background keeping everyone awake at night. Good times.
That was my favorite sims game. So much fun
I really love the way you tell it like it is on gaming KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK.
I am sure you probably get this quiet a bit, but I am glad you cover all the elements of each addition to The Sims 4. I make sure to watch your review before I make the decision to buy. Thanks!

Welcome to Britain.
remember sims 3 world adventures?
it had 3 new cities
france,china,egypt
all of them were unique and fun (france was the most fun tho)
and it costed about 20$
honestly if you dont have sims 3 forget about sims 4 for a few years until season and university and other fun stuff are added and then come back.
World Adventures actually cost $40 on launch.
They cost $20 now (since Sims 3 is almost 10 years old!) but people forget that ALL Sims 3 expansions used to cost $40.
So yeah you got way more things to do but they used to cost double the price.
Was refreshing the page waiting for this! The review confirms most of what I thought would be the case with the pack. Great video as always! Now for them to release something else so that there's more LGR reviews...
I’ve been waiting for you to upload this!!
I’m really surprised the sims 4 is so successful, all I hear is how bad it is 🤔
because the people that actually like it dont speak out about it much
It's like one of those things, like Twilight. We know it's not quality stuff but they got some hardcore fans that buy literally anything and defend it no matter what.
I think it was pretty unanimous amoung simmers that they wanted pets. They wouldnt shut up about it since ts4 came out so of course that was gonna be the highest selling pack. Next highest will be seasons then university.
All press is good press. The Sims 4 really isn’t a bad game if you include every pack or at least most of them. People just want it to be a clone copy of The Sims 3 and that’s the problem.
The game is definitely good, the price for DLC, not so much.
All this new garbage does is cement my love for The Sims 2.
Thank you. Sims 2 is my love.
❤❤❤
I love your reviews, shows the good, bad, does it quickly, and add humor.
I've been checking for days!! Glad this is up.
Your reviews really are the best! 👍
I really miss tropical locations in sims 4, but i don't think I'll get this, didn't really use world adventures to sims 3 that much so.... And still waiting for that seasons pack
Snessonic Snessonic Well, there is the Life is a Beach mod, which transforms granite falls into a tropical destination (but you propably already know this^^)
Man I love your reviews!
I have been looking forward to this for days!
i don't even play the sims anymore and never played 4 but for some bizarre reason i love watching these reviews so much
Oh boy, he's gonna looooove the new stuff pack *THAT SHOULD'VE BEEN FREE*
sKeLeToN WoOhOo
Thankx LGR, was waiting for your review all yesterday
I love your channel so muchhhhhh! Can't wait to see you review seasons 😂.
best sims review ive seen so far
Of course you made the skeletons woohoo...
You mad man!
A perfect world I would have a LGR video every day love this channel :)
Great review as always LGR! Even though I'm not really into Sims 4 anymore and stick mostly to 3, I find this reviews entertaining and fun to watch!
my first pet stuff... an expansion for an expansion... ea is getting greedy lol
the only review worth watching. :)
Love your reviews as always
Great review as always!
"Welcome to the Jungle, we've got fun and games" this guy should be a comedian lmfao xD
I'm going to be pissed if seasons is turned into Sims 4 Rainy day. Seems like they are skimping out on the variety involved with theme packs.
Was just rewatching LGR's old Sims 3 reviews and then this was uploaded. Woo!
Pls never stop doing these reviews. I only buy my packs after watching your videos
