Yayyyy! Glad I found you. I’m interviewing for this position next week. I’m in my 2nd semester of clinicals and want to be a Midwife NP when I can get to grad school. Thank you for sharing 😩😭😂 this is the only job during nursing school I want to work
thanks for the video it was very informative. I'm about to start a new job in PCT potpartum. would you please put the list of item needed for each task? Thanks in advance.
How hard is it to get to this position ? I'm currently In school for my cna certification and later on I'll apply to the lpn program. I really want to start working as a cna but at the baby unit .
How many patients do you care for each day? I hope not all of those rooms for 1 person . Any tips for becoming a PCA in a labor and delivery unit? I have CPR/First aid and have worked with kids for 10 years.
Did you have your maternal rotation completed before getting this job? I would love this job, but I won't have that rotation done until after my next semester :)
No, The labor and delivery unit is a different floor than postpartum. It depends on the hospital if the labor and delivery floor is on the same floor as postpartum. But my hospital we have our own unit for mothers and baby once they deliver
I'm just finishing up my last few prerequisites and you are so motivating. Could you please share some of your biggest time management hacks?
