    Hi Armin
Thank you so much for sharing these lectures - it's very generous of you and so very beneficial. I have may years experience as a senior HR professional but I'm still getting lots from your lecture. Considering you spent over 2 hours on the subject of comps and bens I can understand why you haven't gone into too much detail on the specific job roles you were evaluating. I think the salient points were made - students now have the base knowledge with which to do further research if required.

I once this compensation joke about a manager, at my brother's wedding reception. A banquet manager angrily reprimands one of her caterers, for signing up for a shift by himself (and she was pretty critical and condescending). The caterer says, "You know, I'm beginning to see why you manage so many wedding receptions. Personal compensation, huh?" I don't get it. I don't _think_ it's the business/monetary definition of "compensation." That's all I can get out of the joke. So what did _he_ mean?

Thanks for the wonderful presentation. If you analyze your career (past and future), you could be an actor, too. But what is a teacher than an actor on a stage, willing to convince the audience? Congratulations. My question is: shouldn`t you compare two jobs of a particular organization. Is this relevant (and valid, lol) to compare a policeman and a dentist?

Ok um, first I want to give respect to you Prof. for these videos. I am a recent maters graduate in I-O psy and looking for work. I have to be honest and say I always hated my ethics classes for I feel they are a joke. Most of the world is corrupt and certain powers at hand like it to stay that way but when you go to college they teach the opposite which is confusing. For example I live in USA and our CEO/President is Donald Trump. He spends most his time playing golf and starting tweet wars but he is a billionaire. People in high position get paid the most but do the least. My question is how would you tell upper manage to take a pay cut because they under perform?

Interesting, but you skirted around the issue of the comparison of jobs on your Hay analysis. I think that you under estimated the policeman. Beyond this, you haven't dealt adequately with the pay that people receive and the work that they do in cases like a policeman or teacher versus an athlete or entertainer.
